I said the other day it broke my heart that it was mostly teenage boys tags who were left on that tree. I have noticed that happen a lot in the past when I have taken part in things like this myself so I always choose a teenage boy! As a mum of teenage boys I like to think I can relate to what they might want. People often find teenage boys hard to buy for, and I get it because I certainly do even with my own sons!! But as others have said she should have just left them for someone else to put a present together for them rather than putting in tat that is aimed more towards a 7 year old 😢😢😢😢 those boys 💔💔💔

When she took those tags part of me even thought (although I should’ve known better!) Aimee always overspends so they may get a great present 🙈🙈 but seeing those bags it’s the opposite!
 
Is there a chance the dunelm staff who have to check the bags to make sure its all safe for kids etc would deem the bags she's given as abit rubbish and disregard them? Maybe putting the tags back on the tree so someone can get them better gift?

It's made me genuinely abit sad for the children that receive them, I don't feel they've gotten what they asked for at all.

I agree teenage boys aren’t that difficult to buy for (maybe because I have one myself I don’t find it hard to choose gifts)
If I gave those bags to my son he’d be like wtf are those, I’m 14 not 4! Harper chose them cos she wants them for herself (and how can she relate to a teenage boy - apart from the Tupac hoodie and same sized clothes 😂)

Aimee should stick to buying her brat oversized, overpriced clothes and tit & leave the tags to someone who 1) knows what to buy 2) isn’t doing to inflate their already oversized EGO
 
I struggle with this tags thing, because on one hand, it’s great that she (and other ‘creators’ 🥴) are signposting it, however a few things bother me:

- this content all contributes to their bottom line. Whether it gains them followers, paid views, more exposure on the FYP, so it comes across as incredibly selfish. She doesn’t get paid for posts on instagram so why not share it there?

- she took all the tags she could see, which sounds generous, but it meant that there was none left for anyone else. She could have taken 1 and gone back another day for another. Or there are LOADS of similar schemes going on, do some different ones

- she took tags where she had no clue what to buy. This might be those kids’ only present this year, they deserve something age appropriate.

- she is absolutely swimming in cosmetics at home, and other PR she will never ever use, why is she not looking for deserving homes for that rather than going out and buying MORE shite people don’t want?

I do think she gets a high from spending money on stuff, and buying vouchers for those kids probably wouldn’t give her that.

In short, she could have got them some vouchers and then a few extras to open, suprised her pre-teen almost adult daughter didn’t tell her that

This! She was desperate to grab some tags to make content. She should have waited and gone back when it had been restocked. I agree with everyone else that what’s she chosen are completely the wrong things, it’s purely a box ticking exercise for her. Why would she think a teen or even pre-teen would want a note book with gaming stuff on the front. They want games, or vouchers to put towards a game. The only thing Aimee is consistent in is getting wrong - every single time.
 
Oh no those gaming bags are utter shite imagine expecting gaming and getting that load of crap Roblox and Minecraft are more popular for the younger kids not teenagers my nephew loves Roblox and Minecraft he’s eight 🙄 that’s probably why H liked them ffs
Omg she’s clueless an Argos gift card they sell games and accessories let’s be honest she’s virtue signalling and she’s skimped out she needs to take that 💩 back and get them the bleeping voucher 😡
Some of those kids have been through enough without having to receive a present that’s more appropriate for the kiddies and yeh I’m sure some older kids may still play but none I know and we are gamers in our family as are a lot of our friends.

A simple Amazon search, she could have got a baseball cap, beanie, gloves, studded bracelet, backpack, keyrings, pencil case, necklace, funko pop, the list is endless, even a Greenday tee, just get a teen large, kids will wear oversize anyway
What use is a Christmas cold cup? Normal people don’t live in their whole lives in an eternal Christmas. The cup will get used Christmas day if that, then forgotten about
Aimee will gladly show off that she got her daughter £1000+ of birthday gifts, yet not have a charitable bone in her body when it comes to someone less advantaged

She spent thousands on the brat who let’s be honest needs less money spent on her and more manners etc taught but she only spent what £10-15 per bag? Now for the average person I wouldn’t judge that because every little helps but with her she’s got the money to make those bags more luxurious. It’s actually easy to make £20 stretch but because she’s never had to shop on a budget she doesn’t know how to!
 
Just thinking also, she said it like it was such a flex that H helped her choose but what does a 9 year old girl know about 14 year old boys. It also annoys me she's chosen a budget retailer to buy gifts - this is the one time these kids should be spoilt and she's at home bargains. Boils my piss.

it takes one video of going to dunelm, highlighting the tree and how it works, no need to show what you bought. Just go get one tag, buy a decent present, and take it back without all this bleeping fuss and being offended!

The clapback is ridiculous, just accept that you missed the mark on the gifts and move on. Maybe next time don't film it for everyone to see, once you put it out on the internet people have the right to their own opinions. If you don't want that then don't put it on a public forum.

What is going on with her face - she looks like she's been down the mines and not washed.
