In what world is going to university and work experience at a law firm in Milan the same thing? Absolutely bizarre to claim they are.
I went to university, lots of single mums have degrees, some get their degrees while being single mums, but most can’t afford to live in Milan while doing work experience.
We did go on a trip to wales tho. In a minibus.

If you have a year abroad as part of your degree (usually 3rd year) then the university often sort the placement out for you and you get it funded by student loans.

The placement in Milan was part of her course, so that would be this world.

This is correct, my ex did a year in America as part of his degree, he stayed in student accommodation over there, this was funded in the usual way students fund their accommodation, grants and some money from parents and actually worked out cheaper than student halls here

Yeah year abroad's are much the same as year out in industry; it's part of the course (3rd year of a 4 year course). My sister did a year abroad and it wasn't glam to be fair! I actually found uni a pretty miserable affair; I'm grateful for my qualification but it wasn't the best time of my life

This entire thread is built around people watching Anna's stories and pointing out that she complains about literally every aspect of her life. I can just about stomach her complaints about her local sainsburys but complaining that she didn't enjoy her work placement in Madrid 20 odd years ago is at best irrelevant and is typical of her habit of trying to drop little glamorous tidbits into her stories to try and make us think she was some type of glamorous socialite in a past life (see stories where she namedropped about a dozen C list celebs she'd been on dates with, despite nobody asking).

Sorry but how boring it is that every time someone makes a good observation about Anna they get accused of being her exes new girlfriend. If you want to rave about Anna and don’t like the critical points then a rave thread might be for you.

aaaanyway yesterday Anna took the kids to the beach with a friend (female. Not shagpiece. Unless she ran out of men). Her petrol station packed lunch was two packets of quorn snacks and a bottle of wine. Obviously needed the drink with all that driving on a hot day (I’m assuming that it’s not actually alcohol? She doesn’t strike me as daft enough to drink a bottle of wine on a hot day and then drive 3hrs with kids in the car).

No kids again today.

Yes I am Anna and I'm off to make a rave thread about myself 🙄
I was merely pointing out that throughout the threads there has clearly been someone who knows Anna and has tried to steer the conversation etc. When turkeylips was asked if she was electricboots she disappeared and two weeks later the new poster appeared, again only posting on the Anna thread. I think its a bit strange to only come on here to post about one person tbf 🤷‍♀️
I've critiqued Anna absolutely loads. But I was being fair in my statement that year abroads can be very tough and if people are intent on criticising no matter what then I think it is fair to point out that they may be a poster with an agenda.

i think the creation of new accounts is a fairly odd and suspicious thing to do. I critique anna a lot too so I'm definitely not team Anna but something just doesn't add up here

I agree here (on everything being criticised) Just because you’re abroad doesn’t make it all amazing and glam. Living and working abroad can be just as shite as living and working here or worse. Anna was remembering that situation because of a food she bought recently that took her back there. I don’t see how that is anything to feel annoyed about tbh.
 
Well she’s been comfort chazzing so I wonder if the weekends soft launch has already gone south?

Anna saying the plate would be good for home made hummus is the least knobbish thing you say.
