Harry played the game from start to finish, and he deserved the win.
He made a few slip-ups like saying too much about the dungeon bit, for example, but he was lucky, nobody picked up on that. He also reassured Mollie at one point, 'oh you'll be okay'. And then quickly added 'I'm sure'.

It's like the guy in CBB some years ago who evicted his greatest threat when he got the chance. And the other housemates acted like he had committed some unpardonable sin. He was playing the game! 😁

Get them out before they get you out! 😁

I also think the reaction would be different if Harry hadn’t been chosen as a Traitor and had won the same money as a ‘Fateful’ (;)). We are societally conditioned to support the good guys and want the bad guys to lose, so I think there is a degree of the backlash that he won by unfair means just by being chosen in the game and playing it well…
100% if Harry won 95k on Who wants to be a millionaire and said I'm going put down roots with my own place and treat my family no one would bat an eyelid or check his girlfriend's bank balance.

Did that Meryl and Hannah have to justify their winnings of course not and neither should Harry .

I decided to watch series 1 of the UK version because I didn't see it last year. The faithful are a lot more feisty and interesting and the traitors not as ruthless. The episode where they all started fighting at breakfast was really fun and Derren Brown lite leapt up shouting "she's my girlfriend" was hilarious 😂

My thoughts after watching half the series:
- Darren Brown wannabe pink hair man, what a twat.
- All the men crying more than the women 😭
- I felt sorry for the young guy who had a panic attack at the banishment and was accused of 'acting' by nasty John who then did exactly the same thing and flounced off when he was accused 😄
Yeah John was a piece of shit. Rude and weirdly antagonistic at times. Of course now we know what he's like IRL with the restaurant saga.

I also thought it was a bit weird how so much was made of Matt fancying Alex. It spanned several episodes and felt planned, given the fact we all knew Alex was dating Tom.

I'm glad season 2 avoided any nasty characters and faux almost-romances.

I've been playing catch up and I agree the reason many contestants were so shocked at Harry being a traitor was because they thought Harry was a bit dim. They didn't really see him as a threat because they probably assumed he couldn't have masterminded all that. Just goes to show you never really know anyone!

Yeah tbf, If it was switched and Mollie won, everyone would be saying oh but she’s boring because she was a bit bland and her and the other blondes got easily mixed up.

I’m sure someone would have moaned about any of them winning. If they were just “nice” and won then it would be like oh they’re just a nice person that’s dull.

I want to finish Season 1 but I'm struggling. Hannah is hard to look at and when she's screeching and flapping about hysterically it's just .... ugh.
