WelL there have been very unsauvory stories about the Royals eg Lord Mountbatten's penchant for small boys, and he and Charles befriended ed Jimmy Saville with welcome arms. It's almost like us plebs should expect to be abused by our ",betters". Totally wrong but obviously the Queen holds this type of view, we are just fodder for royal pervs and that is okay.

There was also that Bishop who whipped that boy and Charles and The Queen gave him a character reference.

Yes that's the one. Allegedly Charles didn't realise a caution meant he was guilty ( and none of his staff told him, unbelievably) Very similar to Andrew in fact. Andrew must be wondering what all the fuss is about, when his brother has got away with associating with paedophiles to his hearts content.

Saville also went to Chequers with Blair and Thatcher and was a powerful figure within the BBC and well connected to the Leeds police. Bill Clinton, Bill Gates, Trump etc all met and associated with Epstein not just Prince Andrew. Ball got far up the Church of England. These people got as far as they did because they knew how to charm the establishment of whom the royals were just one part and to cover their tracks before they were found out. That is a lesson all powerful people and organisations need to learn

I think I agree with this - most normal people would be charmed/not alarmed by these people and you are naïve to believe you would have seen through it. Look at Jimmy Saville, there was always something very 'off' about him, but a lot of people didnt realise that he was a danger. I guess royals are the same.

Even my Mum used to have one on her team, when he was arrested as part of a ring, we were all shocked. He didnt fit the 'profile'.

I wouldnt pay too much mind to royals mixing with Saville/Epstein, most of celebrity society did.
 
A big part of how they manage to get away with their abuse for so long is they manipulate people and earn their trust as well as doing the same to the people they abuse. Look at the parents of those boys in the Michael Jackson documentary. He didn’t go straight to having sleepovers in his hotel room with the kids. Over time the parents were moved further and further away once that trust was there.

Maybe everyone was taken in by Saville, but with Epstein and Ball the association carried on after they were convicted.
