I mean both things can be true. Kate did work, inside and outside family and did other things but also prioritised her relationship to W. If she feels being a SAHM/W is what makes her happy more power to her. There is no rule she has to do anything but give birth to an heir (and even that is not 100% in her hands). If she decides to go this route she most definitely shouldn’t get the same amount of money from the SG. I guess with W paying for themselves now that’s a moot point.
There is also no rule that everyone needs to climb the career ladder or stay in the field of their degree. Learning and knowledge are valuable on their own and lots of people work in different fields than their degree.
While I wouldn’t have done things like she did- it payed off though. If her goal was to get W and eventually the crown.

If I was her I would not return to royal life. I would spent it with my husband, children, family and friends and F..K everyone else. Especially if you have to endure people making lies up about your life for the past 22 years. Or think they know details of your life when they have no idea. You see maybe 1 % of her life. Life is to short especially if you had a cancer diagnosis.

I do recall her meeting up with the England rugby team and she seemed genuinely thriving.

Also Wimbledon although I wouldn't mind getting tickets for there myself

I think she shines when she’s with older people and they seem to love her too. She’d be much more suited to work with them instead of her busy work Early Years projects.

Odd! She shines with children and they seem to love her. I haven’t seen her with many older people so not sure where you’ve seen that?!

I think the same. Girls and sport is the perfect fit for her. Sport in general. I imagine she finds great comfort and strength from exercising. Girls drop off the radar doing sport after school. Loads of people doing kids and early development. She could make such a difference.
 
She is a natural with children and they seem to gravitate towards her, you can’t fake that. Children and sport are where she thrives, I do think there is logic behind the early years stuff it just doesn’t always pull through but who knows, maybe it will be a Charles effect where 30 years ago everyone scratched their head as he went on about sustainable farming etc and now realise oh he was on to something after all. I do think the royals really put talking about mental health on the map when it came to the heads together stuff, that was great

Something like this would make complete sense for her, ties in with her patronages and she'd enjoy it. Again its down to staff nor having the cop on to pitch it to her - either that or it was pitched to her, realised she'd have to do a bit more work and she put it off the table.

The problem with the early child stuff is that iits too policy heavy and not enough follow through on her part.

Williams take the cake - the earthshot prize is bizarre, especailly when you know he hunts and they have ivory furniture. The new homeless project is so tone deaf, especially after its come out hes a slum landloard im surprised it hasnt been quietly shelved

The Earthshot Prize is given to people and companies who have worked to provide innovative solutions for climate change and the environment, nothing to do with hunting or the fact that the Monarchy have historic ivory furniture.
 
Huh? Emilia, Hannah, Sophie, Alice/ia and Laura are pretty ordinary? Like- standard top 50 in the last couple of decades. I would go as far as saying that Emilia, Hannah and Sophie are as ordinary as it gets. Not saying they aren’t beautiful names but they are extremely popular and have been for what feels like forever.

Bless him, poor man. I hope he's doing well but he really looks poorly. Like how my FIL looked - he had a death sentence cancer, he was doing quite well, keeping on weight, and suddenly started looking unwell like Charles and it was all downhill from there. :-( I hope it is not what will happen to Charles.
