Came across this today , it's frankly a sickening read noel genuinely believes he did nothing wrong all those years ago because there was no knock on the door to day so and Is pulling the victim card when talking about brutal comments from people saying he should have been arrested

He sees them as similar aged people who were just kids when Chris came along
As oppose to him just about to turn 18

She fell pregnant only a month after first date

It sickens me to read that he said ‘in that time it was dealt with by mums and dads’ which I’m guessing means it wasn’t reported. Those times were only the 90’s…I’m a similar age to sue and the age of consent existed back then 🙄🙄

I don’t believe for a second he waited until a month after their first date and she got pregnant on their first time.
There are just over 4 years between them, and boys start ‘maturing’ and getting those kind of thoughts/urges around 13/14 maybe?? Making her 9/10. Ok he may not have done anything then as he was still young but I don’t believe he waited until he was 17 if she was readily ‘available’ (as her useless mother didn’t protect from her hanging around with teen boys when she was just a child). Disgusting perv.

he defends his decision to rape a child "despite harsh judgements from people who only wee the situation in black and white". the situation IS black and white. he groomed and raped a child who he had known since she was 7 years old. this is a situation where there is no grey area. he should have been prosecuted - and he still SHOULD be prosecuted. this is the second article i have read where he is essentially bragging proudly in the media that he got away with statutory rape. he says it may have been reported to a doctor, but "there were no repercussions" - he knows there SHOULD have been repercussions. he knows he committed a crime. the way he talks about it, he is proud that he got away with it. it's vile.

plus i swear the original story wasn't simply that the doctor didn't protect Sue and report the situation to the police - which, given Sue's age, he would have had a duty to do so - but that he actively got involved in protecting Nowull from being held accountable for raping Sue by telling. her parents NOT to report it? it was hardly "reported to" a doctor - surely doctors were aware simply because a 13 year old child was pregnant and attending appointments to monitor her pregnancy?

he may have been "a child" in the eyes of the law, in that he wasn't 18 when he raped her, but he was 17 and she was 13 - by definition, that is statutory rape, and the law was the same in 1989. rape is rape. it wasn't medieval times, ffs. even if he did get her pregnant the first time they had sex - which I don't believe - he had known her since he was 12 and she was 7. there is no way he wasn't grooming her prior to their "first date". plus the way he seems to think people should be impressed that he waited til she was 13 to rape her - THIRTEEN?! that doesn't make it any better. 🙄

at this point, the police should get involved - as not only has he admitted his crime, he is bragging in the media that he "got away with it!"

As much as they like to display their wealth, there is no way on this earth they would be prepared to pay for private health insurance, private education and no prospects of social housing for their girls when they all inevitably grow up, get pregnant and present themselves at the council!

I know right! Poor boy has been trapped by that girl for the rest of his life now. I have sons the same age and the thought of them becoming fathers now is ridiculous, they are far too self absorbed and busy having fun. That poor baby doesn’t stand a chance and in 20 years the cycle will repeat. No ambition, no prospects, no life other than having babies who then have babies, who then have babies…they are little more than animals.

The bit I'm surprised about is that they went on a "date". I assumed they were sneaking around on the sly knowing their families would disapprove. Going on an actual date is something more public and "official" I guess. I refuse to read the article, don't want to give attention to anyone giving a n*nce a platform to speak his mind, maybe he went into more detail about them "dating". But for some reason I thought they weren't in a proper relationship, he was just using her for his pleasure, until she got pregnant and they were pressured to commit to each other.

Not sure why I thought that, maybe because I can't imagine a man finishing secondary to want to be in an actual relationship with a girl just starting secondary. What would they even talk about? 17 year olds are meant to see 13 year olds as annoying little kids. I guess not when you're attracted to little kids :sick:

I don't think we can say he's been trapped unless Katie lied about birth control. He did the deed knowing that pregnancy is a possibility. Assuming Katie didn't rape him or poke holes in condoms, they're both equally responsible and should be held accountable for the adult decision they made.

Oh absolutely he is responsible now and as my mum used to say ‘you’ve made your bed…’, of course he should step up and be a father now, he has no choice.

I wouldn’t put it pass any of those girls to poke holes in the condoms.
