I think he looks his age and some drugs seem to keep people looking younger, esp heroin, it’s weird but so many ex addicts I know (I’m one too) all look about 10 years younger than they are! It’s like it stops aging or something, I don’t think it’s been proved but my mate and I have always said that the majority of folks that we know who take smack look younger, and I’m not talking of folks without teeth or anything btw, it’s just odd 🤷🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️

Heroin defiantly does not keep all people looking young! I have a bestfriend whos mum was addicted her face sagged and she ended up so skinny she had the body of a frail old women, when she became clean she put the weight back on and now looks younger then ever! Maybe works different on other people but Iv never know anyone to get younger with heroin..

I'd so love to know too! I read Nanny Pat's second autobiography and she's clearly not the lovely Essex nan she made out to be. Carol was clearly her favourite of the five kids she had with 'Big' Charlie.

Totally agree, my dad is an ex addict and you can definitely tell!
 
I actually liked Billie’s dress.. definitely a lot better than some celebs!! Because she’s petite I thought she could pull off the amount of cleavage

You only have to look at someone like Blake Fielder-Civil, or Pete Docherty to see the effects of long term heroin (and crack, coke etc) usage. When I saw Blake interviewed on GMB I nearly spat my coffee out! My mate shagged him once when he was on a break from Amy - and she was shocked at how much he’d deteriorated. X

I didn’t realise Nanny Pat wrote books! Do you remember any reasons why she wasn’t as sweet as she seemed? Don’t think I’ll have chance to read but I’m nosey lol. Knew there’d be lots of tea in that family ☕

100% agree with this, I’ve learned this tough lesson myself in the past after chasing a guy with my tongue out who would just dangle a carrot and throw the odd tidbit my way, I deluded myself into thinking he did want to be with me but it was just X Y and Z stopping him, never again!!

Anyone got any tea on the Dan Edgar/amber turner relationship? Anyone reckon they will last?

True but plenty folks I know do look younger and I mean 10 years younger! Some heroin addicts don’t look that bad, nobody guessed I was one when I was but then I still ate and didn’t lose weight and get my teeth whitened so smoking smack didn’t ruin them, thankfully!

I think alcoholics look worse than drug addicts.

I think Dan’s mum has a cheek not to like Amber, he treats her like tit and so his mum should be telling her son how to treat women right, Amber and Dan totally suit each other in every which way.

Yeah but thankfully not all addicts look like that, you also need to take care of yourself with drugs and some folks just don’t, and they were on more than smack.

Yeah Dan is such a twit, he is really so dim but then I find Amber really annoying and too prim and proper. I think they do suit but he treated her horribly at the beginning. They seem happy now and I bet she’s loving lockdown with him as you can tell she’s super insecure and likes to keep an eye on him.
