The Moscow/Idaho murders

There seems to be a new rumour based on some stuff that has been said on 4chan. The poster there alleges that a group of people from Sigma Chi (or however you spell it) were involved

Though from what I understand this may have been known for a while?

That rumour and those quotes from 4 chan are disturbing on lots of levels.

They had to be written by someone in their group of acquaintances. The level of knowledge of that fraternity and what X and E did that night, and the familiarity with how its written.

Then you have to consider with the evidence they are providing, the names of the two boys, their history with the victims, its someone very close.

And they describe what happened that night and afterwards. Such as 'they left their phones at their house, YouTube on autoplay' 'in and out within 19m' 'clothing disposed in some other town the next day' 'went up when the light went out in the bedroom'

So either its:
- the murderer talking on 4chan, trying to pin it on someone else
- one of the two boys themselves pretending to be a 3rd party,
- an actual 3rd party who they've confided in (who is now likely at risk if they realise this person was blabbing)
- a complete liar.

I have been wondering whether this is someone who has done some sleuthingand has come up with a theory and went to 4chan with it - probably because the reaction elsewhere would have been not to entertain or attached their name to it

I don’t know what it is that’s making me thinthis though

Locals, judging by online groups here, do seem to have slightly more information (based on word of mouth so really read rumours) about the state of the house when the victims were found and the history of the group though, it seems that that’s where some of the rumours online originated from too

There also doesn’t really seem to be any reason to do so. Realistically no woman has to be told to be cautious outside or at home, especially following something so horrible

A lot of people believe it could be plausible and this could have been a ‘roid attack’

One person mentioned could it be Jack S had his suspicions regarding the girls safety which is why he waited with them. Maybe he has spoken with the police and that is why he has been cleared and possible told to leave the area /country for his own safety while they build evidence against the accused.

I mean it doesn’t feel far fetched ! Am maybe people are keep stum because they are scared / feel guilty they had heard romours of what the guys were going to do - but maybe dismissed it as all talk.

I mean it isn’t completely far fetched …

I also wonder if the events like this did play out.

Maybe the police have not names them as suspects as they are hoping they will slip up. If they are suffering from roid rage it’s likely they are in an altered frame of mind and would like boost or even potentially come to a more stable mind and feel remorse for their actions.

I feel like it makes sense to an extent. Kaylee and maddie get home speak with xana and eithan. They tell them what happened at the party. Maybe Kaylee was calling her ex because she was worried or wanted to tell him what had happen. They probs thought they were safe in their home with no immediate threat.

Maybe the girls in the flat did hear the attack and froze in fear. And hid until they felt it was safe to come out. Or maybe they really was asleep.

I think KG’s father is being a bit reckless with the comments he is making. Police withhold information about investigations to enable them to do a full and thorough investigation without evidence being compromised. As well as the random weirdos you get who like to confess to serious crimes - how will they differentiate if all of the details are shared by him. He will find himself more distanced and iced out of the information as they police won’t be able to trust he won’t share all of the info with the press and compromise them

I agree I hate to speak against them as I can’t not imagine the pain he must be feeling. However I think it is wreckless. Type of wounds etc are the details police would hold back as it’s those driscritptions that will ultimately get the killer.

I feel like the other families are just being disregarded. The media should also encouraging him. The police should take action on media outlets encouraging him to do interviews.

I mean I guess he could take to social media anyway ..but he is jeopardising the case and he needs to find some rational thinking for the sake of his daughter getting justice

it’s a place that people, rightly or wrongly, feels is one of the last bastions of anonymous speech on the internet.

there’s a lot of blatant racism, porn, real venom about every kind of minority you can think of. Nothing is really off limits. There’s different sections of the site, /pol/ is loosely focussed on political discussion. You don’t need a username or to sign up to post there.

on /pol/ there are general threads or “generals”, much like on Tattle the thread gets renewed every time it’s full. There’s an Idaho general there.

how does she know that their homes have been tapped?! someone on YouTube has a theory about why Steve isn't getting information from the Police anymore but Maddie's father said he was. Someone's theory is that Steve may have been the killer because he is releasing details that haven't been released by the Moscow Police department but someone in that person's comment's section stated that they are not telling Steve anything anymore because they don't want him to go to the media about it and that they don't think that he did murder. The other thing that youtuber stated was that Steve is a felon and that the mother has some drug charges in her past and I didn't know that until the other day.

A different youtuber went over the article from Fox News and said that don't read too much into the article and to keep in mind that is upset and hurt father that has lost their child and to leave room for miscommunication of the details from this Steve guy.

I’ve been hinting that Steve’s the killer since he started shouting off in interviews. The most recent one is a bit alarming, he goes into details beyond a grieving father.

okay I was in another live stream and someone showed photos from 4chan and they looked like photos of Kaylee in the bathroom on the third floor and they looked like they were taken without her knowing and they had the time of 3 somethingish AM the night of the murders. I was like omg yikes. There was also some short note that they. posted too. I don't know who is posting that stuff or where they got those photos from but it was creepy to say the least.

but according to that article he brought the death certificate and that is where he got the details about K's injuries but with the way he explained K"s injuries it sounds like he paid for the damn autopsy. but I understand that he is upset right now. but he really needs to be quiet so the case can get solved.

He earned the knowledge because he paid for the death certificate and autopsy reports, that is what he means.

That was debunked as fake. It’s creepy as hell and it even had similar door handles but on Reddit it was debunked. Someone got the photo information, I don’t know what the technical term is… like the photo data.

Just read the whole thread, this case has been consuming me for a couple of weeks. Great discussion and some really interesting theories.

I hope I don’t offend anyone from the US here, but the whole Fraternity/Sorority culture seems incredibly culty and sinister. I’ve only ever previously heard about them from watching 2000’s movies (American pie Beta house, House Bunny etc). But doing my research on this case I get the feeling once your in, you’re in for life. There’s no way out. I just get a really uneasy dark vibe from it all.

There’s so many lines of enquiry you really don’t know where to start when trying to piece it together.
