They said there was a school near by so hopefully they will get the kids to go there, they need friends if this is going to be their home.I must admit it’s not what I expected them to buy. That definitely has holiday rental vibes and a bit soulless. Given that they never lifted a finger to decorate their home in bath it will be interesting seeing them deal with Portuguese tradesmen and living onsite whilst it’s being done up. And of course homeschooling the boys.
I can't either as they still have to pay tax on earnings in the UK as well as in Portugal, now the rules are changing. Their main source of earning is online yet, Stef complained about the slow and intermittent broadband when they were in the campervan ! They should've rented an affordable villa over the winter and tried living there during the quieter, non touristy months. I have visions of Hannah coming back to the UK with the boys and dogs and moving near her sister......
still seems mad to buy in a country you have never lived in first though. For the boys and dogs i hope it works out.
