Praia de Luz £415,098. Pretty sure this one is the one they were sat in the bedroom on the bed talking about. However the other one sounds more like they were describing so could be that one.

Ah I’ve found it! I was getting confused as they are staying at another villa - a terracotta coloured one with a nicer pool. Stef said he was decorating the huge cactus for Christmas…..
 
Yes, the one I’m on about is in the vlogs they are sat on a bed by a wardrobe. Outside is a large pool to the back, looking out towards the sea ( there are other villas in front of them as they are set back a bit ) to the from is a large driveway and gates onto the road. Thisnis the one I’m guessing is it, however it’s still for sale so may not be. There are quite a few properties for sale.
 
Wow, I just started googling prai da luz on Rightmove and the first property was £16m, and the first two pages were £2m plus properties. Some of them right ugly modernist monstrosities! I thought they'd choose somewhere less obviously touristy and a more modernised home, but it looks like the area is very pricey and clearly these properties are aimed at foreign buyers.
 
Does anyone enjoy their content? The opening voice-over à la Come Dine With Me, the suitcase AD, the hideous AI sequences, the distorted aerial photography, the ugly cluttered room they are sitting in, watching two people who are obviously scared shitless (poor Hannah - her hair is falling out) trying to gloss over their misgivings with acrid humor. It's all rather off-putting to me.

There are some very expensive properties out there but also more modest ones. A lot of them are holiday homes/rentals ot second homes. It’s busy summer time but quiet in the winter and of course it will always have the MM association.
 
I must admit it’s not what I expected them to buy. That definitely has holiday rental vibes and a bit soulless. Given that they never lifted a finger to decorate their home in bath it will be interesting seeing them deal with Portuguese tradesmen and living onsite whilst it’s being done up. And of course homeschooling the boys😵‍💫.
