Jace was over 8lbs when he was born and yet apparently one of the tiniest babies the nurses had ever seen? She’s bizarre.

Remember as well when Mila first got her cast on and apparently everyone at the hospital was "shocked" and she was the tiniest baby that they had ever put a cast on. When she was actually older than most babies that go through the procedure because they ignored it for ages.

Giving Jace a toy in front of Mila was bad enough, but to then say it's was Jace's toy and how kind it was of him to share, he didn't have to as it was his toy. Whereas Mila's birthdays presents were basically given to Jace the minute they were opened, and before she was even gifted them, lazy was referring to them as their presents, not Mila's. Tell me you have a favourite child without, telling me you have a favourite child. Talk about spiteful.

Wtaf was that gift giving segment!?? I’m appalled that she would have them both sitting with their eyes closed and hands out for a surprise when only Jace is getting a present - then to add insult to injury to tries to gets Mila to give Jace his toy whilst bleating on about what a good boy he is and how he deserves it… so what then, Mila doesn’t deserve a toy because she hasn’t been good enough!??? I’m in Scotland so I know it could be different but when I go for a scan for the baby they only talk about the scan? They don’t ask me anything about what the midwife has spoken to me about. So coming away from the hospital with the aspirin sounds weird to me. But like I said it could be because each area does it differently.

Not unusual for scans before consultant appointments, she said earlier in her pregnancy that having the girls at smaller weights when born was one of the factors I believe so it was probably growth scan and then consultant afterwards. She’d have had her bloods taken during this appointment as well as she missed her routine midwife apt which would have had the bloods done.

Jace says ‘it is witchery (literally) a bit cold’ - now a normal parent would say back to him the correct pronunciation (which is what you should do to help with correct speech formation). Not Sarah, instead she mocks him by repeating exactly what he said back to him. Why would she do that - is she worried he’d get upset if he realised he said it wrong? There is little wonder why his speech is not improving

At the start of the vlog, it really does seem like the HV/MW visit picked something up or something was said that wasn’t to the Minghams liking. She comes across as someone who’s been upset but putting on a brave face for the kids - or in this case the camera - to hide that she’s been upset by something. I hope they picked up on Jace, it must have been a different HV to who’s visited in the past.

Mila and Jace sat on those tall chairs, okay Jace is four but poor Mila at 2 expected to have the sense not to fall off them, no concession is ever made for their safety either Jaces or Milas, no safety gates nothing, left on their own whilst chav and chavette faff around not parenting their children
And mila’s speech is 100 better than Jaces
And he always looks annoyed if Mila gets ANY attention
Then that spiteful tit show of rewarding Jace
It’s always got to be toys as if they dont have enough crap
why not a star chart where he can put stickers and work towards something ( not toys)
So he stays in his bed big deal
So do thousands of four year olds and they don’t get toys for it
And poor Mila having to learn at 2 that she’s an after thought if that
Their dynamics with those children are completely fucked up

Esme has a very selfish/mean/big head streak
Isla just ignored most of the time and infantilised
Jace just completely spoilt rotten

Wonder of the Health visitor noticed the bump on Milas head , the one that Jace whacked her with something. She bumped on her bed !!

Maybe Jace and Milas red books were also looked at and questions raised about them , vaccinations etc

I've never had the health visitor so early on, although that could be different by area. With my 2nd child onwards they had changed to meeting the health visitor before the baby arrived but at about 36 weeks. I've never heard of both health visitor and midwife doing a visit together and I've never seen a midwife at home until after the baby has been born.

I think a few things have been picked up on. The hospital appointment didn't go as they wanted, they likely did more checks than they expected and probably had words about how important it is to attend all appointments and to keep an eye on symptoms. In my experience even when everything is fine you are reminded at each appointment to always inform them of any changes, keep an eye on movement etc. For her to know she has symptoms but ignore them, all whilst also missing an appointment, is a definite red flag.
