Looking at gov website and NICE guidelines looks like there is a push for more collaborative working between HV and midwives. However, the linked document on NICE website suggests a joint antenatal visit from both professionals is for vulnerable women/men. Perhaps there is concern. Or perhaps her healthcare team are making joint visits a bit more of a normal thing pre baby.

Also find it strange that the midwife and health visitor attended together... Unless it's part of "continuity of care" nowadays? Very very odd.

Could it be a “2 man visit” a way to keep themselves (midwife or HV) protected? I can imagine them both getting a little bit snarky if they don’t like what they hear?

She’ll have had a joint appointment for refusing to take proper care of herself or her unborn baby during this pregnancy. Flags will have been raised about their relationship as well as even if she refused to seek help Chris should have taken her and, obviously refused. There will also be the fact that she/they missed appointments for Mila and Jace as well. Their so called holiday was just replicating a previous one to.... eat potatoes from the spar

She can expect more of these appointments. No more running away from agency meetings. Ideal time to get those kids into nursery and education and this time there will be no fobbing the LEA off start of September and disappearing because the baby isn’t due until October.

About time someone took notice of their failures as parents!

There was something off about Creepy when he was in Tesco or where ever and he was financially abusing Lazy

The whole angle about the way he speaks to her as it’s his way of banter was really odd as well

I don’t know if things have changed but I had more visits with the health visitor due to my declining mental health and I also had a cpn. I did have to also attend the weekly clinic once home visits had ended. Which was fine, I had no issues with a health visitor doing extra checks as I really appreciated the extra support.

If they have one coming out before baby is born clearly there are red flags and they need to keep a closer eye on baby and sarah. They are busy people they don’t do early home visits for shits and giggles.

My take on that was, he was being an abusive , controlling c**k to her. It was overheard in the shop, so they're getting it out there that it was banter in case whoever overheard was an ifam , or more likely a tattler and they made it known exactly what the creep is like

He’s very controlling, stupid enough to vlog the evidence as well, that’s the only reason he claims Sarah wears the trousers in their relationship after they’ve vlogged something that shows his abusive ways as he uses that line frequently. I’d love to be the other side of an aisle with those two out in the wild to hear what goes on behind the scenes if that is what they consider ok to feature on the vlog.

When I was pregnant with my second I developed high blood pressure. I did it at work and it was elevated. I called my community midwife who told me to leave my shift at work straight away and she'd pop over to see me that day. That was the only time a midwife did a HV during any of my pregnancies, only postnatal visits. She signed me off work that day and i didnt return until my baby had been born. I was 28 weeks. I dont recall any health visitor visits ever. It was all done at the baby clinic.


I have ROUGH pregnancies hence my midwife being more on the ball with me. I had HG and pre eclampsia and my kids had IUGR so it was rare for a few days to go by without appointments or trips to fetal assessment fir monitoring

They needed an onion, he knows what she's like, she can't go into a shop without filling a trolley, so he should have nipped in for the onion by himself.
Conveniently Jace has grown out of his autumn winter clothes, probably because they were all too small for him when she bought them, so shes now planning a mega order for him. Great, more shopping/clothing hauls/clothes sort outs.
