It's not as risky as people think. The climate has changed somewhat over the years and you can get excellent weather in August BUT there is currently a monsoon moving through so she's picked a shocker of a time to go. She's been banging on about Gili Lankafushi for ages so I'm guessing she's there.

You just made me go back and check my own pictures and you're right! I don't have a single one without the prop or float in the way unless I've zoomed in. The whole area is currently under a yellow weather warning.
