The Food Medic / DB #4 Hazel’s swapped brain cells for sells, sells, sells and clever degrees for dumb DB

DB's story about his company hiring a part time telesales job is unbelievable - job hours are "5-40 hours per week, flexibilty is important" (?!) And it is commission only. How can hazel be ok with this after her being burn out from working in the NHS.. Does she not understand how problematic a 5-40 hour work week on commission only is?!

Sorry, ranging from 5-40 hours per week 😂😂 I’m betting with how slow his business is currently, the 5 hours per week is the safe bet there!

That’s not even legal, unless they guarantee a level of commission that’s equivalent to minimum wage

And who does cold calling telesales these days? I don't really know as my number is registered with the TPS, telephone preference scheme, so I only get the odd call from abroad which hangs up very quick when I ask where they got my number.

Anyway, I digress, that is an appalling job advert. How can I live if I only work 1 hour a day without any guaranteed pay. Like someone said it is illegal, but he probably employs them on a self employed basis, I wonder if he can do that to get around the minimum wage point. Anyway, it says a lot about him if he is offering these type of employment terms.

I was looking for the post and found this, he did hazel dirty with that cover image
