Mackenzie is already 15 😳 They'll be marrying her off in a couple of years 😞

I wonder how keen she is to escape the Duggar compound or if things are calmer without her dad around. He wasn't the most respectful to Anna even before the current scandal and incarceration, it's likely the eldest M kids caught wind of that.

It sounds like JB disappears off doing who knows what during the day so hopefully the main house and the warehouse home are fairly uneventful compared to how it used to be when they had the show and not as marry kids had married and left.

Unfortunately Mackenzie has been parentified for years, she helped her mom raise her younger siblings.

Anna is thought to be under his authority in Josh's absence 😐

The consensus seems to be that they prefer the girls married off asap, particularly in Josh's kids' case. They don't want them going off the rails and spilling family secrets. Getting them married off early to people in their circle seems to be the order of the day (goes for the remaining Duggar kids too). JB and Michelle are done parenting, I doubt they want the responsibility of Anna's kids too much longer now that Jana has married and left. By the time Kynzie is of age to marry the middle two M girls can sistermom the youngest one.

I assume they want the same for the M boys, occupy them with jobs via JB or his connections then married off to a pretty, young submissive fundie girl probably out of their league who will pump out babies. Locked into family life and responsibilities before they know it. The boys could be an even bigger problem if they're not 'neutralised'. JB won't want them rebelling/speaking out/gaining a police record that will draw headlines. The eldest in particular was old enough to get a sense of what his dad did and the stigma surrounding his family.

Unfortunately I can't imagine all the M kids are going to come out of this unscathed 🙁

At least they have a couple of slightly less religious aunts and cousins on the Keller side who could potentially offer sanctuary. One is very wealthy via a second marriage.
