Janas house Reno looks great! And the older of the unmarried sisters seem to have been visiting Nebraska a lot with her (presumably to “chaperone” but also it’s nice they get to get away from JBs compound)

as soon as she showed the basement which looks like a seperate apartment I was wondering how long it will be before one of the sisters negotiates going to school or training college in Nebraska so they can stay with Jana

she’s such a good role model for her younger sisters- Johanna seems just as into DIY and Reno as Jana

I was thinking the exact same thing. Which means no alone time for Jana and her new husband, though. But I wonder if Jana even wants that.

I see Jinger is pregnant with number 3. At least she is leaving 3 years between each baby which is giving her body time to recover.

Anyone else surprised that Jana has not announced a new "blessing" on the way?

On the other hand, I wonder if they've even consummated the marriage! (No, really...) Or if they're using *gasp* birth control. I bet Jana is done with raising children and now wants to live her own life as an adult.

She’s what 34/35 so not too old for kids in normal world. I can see them with 1 or 2 max and doing the normal nuclear family thing. I’m also surprised Johanna or Jennifer haven’t tried to move in with Jana to escape daddy’s compound.

ETA - I don’t think she’s been married long enough to have a 12 week pregnancy announcement yet

For some reason I thought she had been married longer than that. But I agree that they will probably do the nuclear family thing. And I am also surprised that Johanna or Jennifer haven't moved in yet. Perhaps there are limits and boundaries being set; Jeremy at least told the in-laws no visits until after 6 months although I think his motive was to de-program Jinger from her parents and then re-program her to fit his own agenda.

At the time I also wondered the same thing. Now I think it was the kind of friendship that girls have when they're younger that Jana never got a chance to experience. Jana was forced to be an adult at an insane age but is probably developmentally delayed in never being allowed to develop that young adult "best friend" relationship where you talk on the phone every day, pass notes in school, disclose secret crushes, etc.

Hope that all made sense.

I saw the pictures, but I’m not really sure if it’s actually her…..it looked like the top/t shirt was too short/cropped, showing the person’s belly button, which made me question things??

I suspect she's just gained a fair bit of weight, she does look rough though.. if she is pregnant they'd probably see it as a bigger scandal then josh!

I agree. I think that much of a weight gain is a sign of depression. And we know she is expected to "keep sweet" and never show or talk about any difficult issues or doubts.

A different kind of prison than her husband.

I wonder what it's like for her children.

mom not going to commment on her weight but she’s what 36? 7 kids has aged her. Kendra and Jessa better take note. The other girls seem to not be cracking them out at a similar rate. Jill has 3 (I know she’s had losses) Joy has 3, Jinger has 2 and 1 pending….
