I was really enjoying watching the reaction videos but over the last few it’s become really evident that they are very harsh on Lauren, especially Timmy. He has always seemed to have an issue with her. I’m glad they apologized over how they handled the latest episode regarding the sex tape. Imagine if they had a daughter and a friend did that to her? I think their attitude would be different then!

Exactly! Especially as the episode before Whitney was a bit sad and embarrassed rewatching herself falling on the TV feature - which is fine I would have been embarrassed too, and her dad being in the clip prob contributed, but then they had a much more casual attitude about the sex tape. Imagine that rumour had happened to Whitney, they would have handled it totally differently and more sensitively.

But yeah good that they apologised and I hope they stop tiptoeing around Spencer's shady behaviour in the future. The way he appeared on the show was toxic (even if he was faking it for the cameras as many people say) and they should make that clear for the sake of anyone going through similar. Laughing it off and playing it down will just give the impression that it is ok to act as he did.
 
She only recently interviewed Lauren on her podcast so the active dislike seems to have developed out of nowhere.

yeah the tiptoeing around Speidi is getting on everyone’s nerves. If spencer already went in on Whitney and blocked her before all of this then who cares what he thinks! He’s never going to like them so they should just be honest.

I have just watched the latest video and even though I knew they didn’t handle the sex tape situation correctly I am still absolutely shocked that Whitney just outright said “this isn’t a big deal. I don’t think this is a big deal.”
 
You can tell by the comments that the majority of people are still super positive about Lauren - bet that gets on the rest of the casts nerves as she left in like season 5 and doesn't even want the attention these days. 😂 There was even a clip recently of Kristin, Audrina and Heidi discussing Lauren, I saw it on YT it was either part of the revival or promo, the fact they still have to name drop her to drum up interest is v telling.

I do like Whitney overall she does seem like a genuinely nice person, but her reaction was definitely uncalled for in that vid and I'm happy the comments were flooded with people calling her and Timmy out.

I'm intrigued how they will act in the next video. Do you think they will do all of the episodes or stop when Whitney leaves the show?

Whitney was always my favourite on the hills, some of their jokes are not funny though.

When they do the thinking thing where Sonny flies across the screen? Over it. Too long.
