she looks so different and not in a good way. She’s only in her early 30s, why has she had so much work done to her face?!
her voice is bizzare, I remember thinking the same when she did the show for MTV looking back at the Hills. She’s lost the stereotypical California twang that she had. She’s probably been to elocution lessons or worked with a voice coach.
 
I found it quite wishy washy and boring, I didn’t realise it was in parts so hoping the next one is better!

I feel like LC's botox has relaxed a little. Whitney gets GREAT botox though... she looks sooo fresh. She spoke about it on IG before - crows feet and a little in her frown lines and forehead.

Watching the video is interesting... I actually turned the podcast off as found it boring. They are very clearly not friends as such now. I like LC, she is definitely private and guarded...she seems to have a good balance. She seems to have a lot of her own work going on which is nice. I am not sure if Whitney is doing as much anymore... apart from The Hills/Youtube??

yeah she often seems down and out and Timmy has to reassure her a lot. I think she had struggled a lot since her dad died so it might stem from that.

For such a sweet natured girl she has fallen out with quite a number of friends! I’ve picked this up from watching the commentaries (the main fall out being kelly), a few passing comments in her lives and then the podcast with Lauren she mentions a falling out with a mutual friend. She always seemed the type to keep the peace but now I know all the show was set up that might not be Whitney at all 🤣

I think Laguna seemed very natural, The Hills started to seem more scripted.. and by the time the City came around it was just like some kind of sitcom not a reality show

She seems very thin too (she has always been slim obviously) but she looks gaunt. I barely remember most of these eps, but I had totally forgotten about the girl who is the model, she looks very much like she has some kind of eating disorder. Both her bf and that aussie guy are awful

I was a huge fan of Laguna Beach and The Hills but never did watch The City - do you get to see the full episode or just snippets? I might give it a go if it's full eps.

they do it for the hills too. I was also shocked about how fake the show is, obviously you know these shows are partially set up but not to the extent they have been!

yes! I hate how he constantly says things like how gorgeous she was "then", to me it kind of implies she isn't now which is obviously ridiculous. I feel bad for her as she is clearly so insecure abotu her looks, constantly going on about how her hair looks awful etc. Tbh though in a lot of the eps her fashion sense is cringe lol
 
She has zero confidence and I honestly think it’s because Timmy has chipped away at her over the years. She said in a recent video that he would make a great cult leader because he’s so convincing and believable and I think that says it all about him 😱
 
I only started watching recently and I find Timmy super annoying, her channel would be better if she made more videos without him I think. The way he's always going on about the merch - just shut up!

Who even is he? Was he famous before they met?

He worked behind the scenes in The City! They had to keep their relationship secret for a while.

she seems the type that can’t do anything without him, plus he takes over everythinggggggg so she probably wouldn’t have a chance!
 
Ok so here’s a moment just from today’s video. So prior to this I’ve seen Timmys weird behaviour but here is a recent example.

at time stamp 39:41 Timmy says “tell me” but it’s clear Whitney has asked him if she should explain the scene that’s just happened on the hills clip. This caught my attention because Whitney never talks for this amount of time as it’s usually the Timmy show so I was interested to see her explain the situation. During the time she is talking Timmy actually does his best to look interested, more so than usual anyway, though he does look at his watch at 40:17 and removes his arm from her at 40:21 and then does a massive sigh BUT the biggest thing I saw is that at 40:37 he moves his hand to her knee and squeezes it or taps it to basically say you’ve said enough and she immediately stops and looks at him and he swallows and says “got it” and then she looks so down trodden!!!
pleaseeeee watch this whole section and let me know your thoughts! It might seem like I’m reading into it but I’ve watched for months now and his body language and the way he is with her just screams toxic!!

he looks bored the whole time she is talking and doesn't look like he is listening IMO, his eyes basically glaze over, also after he squeezes her leg and she stops talking there is a flash of what looks like her being upset for a millisecond
