Congratulations @LurkingMeg for naming the thread, and @Just Grift Wood for the nomination. I took some creative liberties, but I believe this is the main point the thread nomination tried to convey.
@Lochness Monster a happy birthday. ❤
@M&MsMom thinking of you.

Stephanie isn’t even trying in her Christmas videos this year. They’re even worse than her normal daily garbage.
I’m way behind and had to skip a few pages here & there to catch up. Hope your cat is still on the mend @M&MsMom.
Last night, my favorite pup & my usual TL avatar, Ralph, started peeing blood. Ralph is 13 & had a million health problems over the years, I thought this was it & he was going to die. My usual vet was closed, so I found a late night veterinary hospital close by. As I was putting the other pups away in their crates, getting ready to leave, they all started howling, which is unusual. I was a crying mess and said, “They already know.” Took Ralph in right away. He peed bloody pee 7 or 8 times during the three hours we were at the vet. A horror show each & every time. Like someone spilled a glass of red koolaid on the floor. Turns out it was a uti and they also found diabetes. We started his meds for uti last night, then a follow up visit this morning, more testing and then the insulin. I gave him his first shot & luckily for me, it’s not hard to do. I asked the vet if this condition will be too much for the old boy to deal with and he said not at all & he should still have a good quality of life. His pee isn’t red today and he’s not acting any different than normal. What a scare.❤

Hi everyone, a brief update on my Merlin. I spent roughly 9 hours at the hospital with him today, just sitting with him, loving him up, talking to him. He will be having his catheter removed sometime around 4:00 a.m. Monday morning (tomorrow) and we will be able to bring him home around 10:00 a.m. That's the great news!
The other news is not bad, he is NOT in any danger at all, but there are a lot of weird things happening. His kidney levels are perfect, his weight is perfect, he had no bladder stones, he had no obstruction, he doesn't appear to have any tumors, but his urine output versus the fluids he's been getting are not in sync and three vets (all of whom we like very much) in that place cannot figure out why. There's a theory that perhaps he had some kidney damage that was so slight it didn't register in their testing, meaning the kidneys are kicking out more urine which causes more output than the fluids he's being given (they should match). They also detected a very slight heart murmur, which meant they had to take it easy on the fluids this go around. That, too, could be nothing, a result of this episode. Testing they did at the ER yesterday didn't show any red flags, but it could be a concern. Who knows? We definitely have to get that checked out.
He was in good humor for the first time since he went in this second time, he was wriggling around, making biscuits and loving my husband's visit with him this afternoon - he was himself again!
Here is what, in my mind, is the best news. If he crashes again, my vet and this ER group he's with now have referred us to another vet group in Annapolis, about 35 minutes from us, who are a triple threat - they are an emergency hospital, their surgeons do the urethra surgery that will help him not get blocked again AND they have cardiologists. My vet practice doesn't do the surgery and their cardiologist group is probably an hour away without traffic - and trust me, there is ALWAYS very bad traffic! So, we have a plan for the future and that's always good!
Thank you all for listening!

Guys I think we've figured out that of all the properties she and mummy own, the chateau is just for storage. It's a glorified storage unit. I mean just say that, why are we all pretending she lives there. She lives on the road. The castle is for "stuff" and to house the folks who manage the "stuff". PEriod. The end. Of course occasionally they have guests and customers they allow in to admire the "stuff." That justifies the purchase of the "stuff" they are storing.

That’s what I don’t like about Tattle. Suddenly people that you feel you know and like just disappear and there is no way of knowing whether they have just tired of the dire duo or whether something bad has occurred in their life. I particularly miss @MRShavershamsdress and @lecomptedemontechristo and feel gutted that I’ll never know what’s happened.graciemckitten said:
I hope Mrs. Haversham’s dress is doing okay. We miss you! ❤❤
