Congratulations @LurkingMeg for naming the thread, and @Just Grift Wood for the nomination. I took some creative liberties, but I believe this is the main point the thread nomination tried to convey.

@Lochness Monster a happy birthday. ❤ 🎂

Stephanie isn’t even trying in her Christmas videos this year. They’re even worse than her normal daily garbage.

I’m way behind and had to skip a few pages here & there to catch up. Hope your cat is still on the mend @M&MsMom.

Last night, my favorite pup & my usual TL avatar, Ralph, started peeing blood. Ralph is 13 & had a million health problems over the years, I thought this was it & he was going to die. My usual vet was closed, so I found a late night veterinary hospital close by. As I was putting the other pups away in their crates, getting ready to leave, they all started howling, which is unusual. I was a crying mess and said, “They already know.” Took Ralph in right away. He peed bloody pee 7 or 8 times during the three hours we were at the vet. A horror show each & every time. Like someone spilled a glass of red koolaid on the floor. Turns out it was a uti and they also found diabetes. We started his meds for uti last night, then a follow up visit this morning, more testing and then the insulin. I gave him his first shot & luckily for me, it’s not hard to do. I asked the vet if this condition will be too much for the old boy to deal with and he said not at all & he should still have a good quality of life. His pee isn’t red today and he’s not acting any different than normal. What a scare.❤

Hi everyone, a brief update on my Merlin. I spent roughly 9 hours at the hospital with him today, just sitting with him, loving him up, talking to him. He will be having his catheter removed sometime around 4:00 a.m. Monday morning (tomorrow) and we will be able to bring him home around 10:00 a.m. That's the great news!

The other news is not bad, he is NOT in any danger at all, but there are a lot of weird things happening. His kidney levels are perfect, his weight is perfect, he had no bladder stones, he had no obstruction, he doesn't appear to have any tumors, but his urine output versus the fluids he's been getting are not in sync and three vets (all of whom we like very much) in that place cannot figure out why. There's a theory that perhaps he had some kidney damage that was so slight it didn't register in their testing, meaning the kidneys are kicking out more urine which causes more output than the fluids he's being given (they should match). They also detected a very slight heart murmur, which meant they had to take it easy on the fluids this go around. That, too, could be nothing, a result of this episode. Testing they did at the ER yesterday didn't show any red flags, but it could be a concern. Who knows? We definitely have to get that checked out.

He was in good humor for the first time since he went in this second time, he was wriggling around, making biscuits and loving my husband's visit with him this afternoon - he was himself again!

Here is what, in my mind, is the best news. If he crashes again, my vet and this ER group he's with now have referred us to another vet group in Annapolis, about 35 minutes from us, who are a triple threat - they are an emergency hospital, their surgeons do the urethra surgery that will help him not get blocked again AND they have cardiologists. My vet practice doesn't do the surgery and their cardiologist group is probably an hour away without traffic - and trust me, there is ALWAYS very bad traffic! So, we have a plan for the future and that's always good!

Thank you all for listening!

Guys I think we've figured out that of all the properties she and mummy own, the chateau is just for storage. It's a glorified storage unit. I mean just say that, why are we all pretending she lives there. She lives on the road. The castle is for "stuff" and to house the folks who manage the "stuff". PEriod. The end. Of course occasionally they have guests and customers they allow in to admire the "stuff." That justifies the purchase of the "stuff" they are storing.

That’s what I don’t like about Tattle. Suddenly people that you feel you know and like just disappear and there is no way of knowing whether they have just tired of the dire duo or whether something bad has occurred in their life. I particularly miss @MRShavershamsdress and @lecomptedemontechristo and feel gutted that I’ll never know what’s happened.

Golly gosh! That last thread whittled off pretty darn quick as it was coming to an end.

I started writing a reply to your post @T Rex just as the thread closed, so here goes again.

They only drove 4 hours for a specific reason. Brocunting or auction house collection. Generally those places are closed on a Monday if it was yesterday that they were travelling. I would almost put money on the high probability that they stopped in Orleans. Town of Kings. Lots to see, they wouldn't stop 1 hour short of home for no reason. They are just so obvious.

Sorry to derail!
Hi Tattle Aunties and Uncles!
Little Potpourri sat on Santa's lap for the first time tonight, and his proud mama snapped a photo.
Meanwhile, his Jewish dad has gladly grown fond of celebrating Christmukkah as a family!
The first night of Hanukkah is on Christmas Day this year, which is neat!

U : umständlich
Meanwhile, PhiPhi acted very noticeably and awkwardly less gay tonight than he did when he was with Vivian and Vivian Junior!
Painfully faking it til he makes it.

Orléans was my guess, too, Christmas market, all the prettinesses to look at and probably an auction-related nefarious reason. Breaking the drive for no reason doesn’t fit their m.o.

She claimed Arras was the oldest Christmas market in Europe. I think this is misinformation again. Or what do you think?
A quick chat with uncle Google tells us that Nuremberg has the oldest active Christmas market in Europe with records from 1434. I didn't do a deep dive and went with the first offering on the search page.

1734426472051.png

Another search tells us that the marché de noel de Arras is fêting it's 35th year this very year! Though I'm sure there are older roots to it.

1734426693297.png

And a further search tells us that Strasbourg is the oldest marché de noel in France, records dating from 1570. This does not surprise me and is the one that I would put top of the list for longevity in France. If you have never been go, it is well worth the visit. There are, in fact, about 10 or 12 different markets going on at the same time but it is always billed as 1.

So, ma cher @Lady Pinkadella you are absolutely right to call BS. I wonder if any of the sycophants will dare to call her out on her false information?

Stephanie was lying out of her ass as usual. Even Arras France does not claim to be the oldest Christmas market in Europe. Stephanie never researches anything. If her lips are moving, she is lying.

Strasbourg Christmas Market: Strasbourg is considered the “Christmas Capital” of France, and its Christmas market is one of the oldest and most famous in the country. Strasbourg’s Christmas market is famous for its magnificent decorations, Alsatian culinary specialties and local handicrafts.
1. Strasbourg Christmas Market
Strasbourg is one of the most picturesque towns in France, and the spirit of Christmas does not disappoint. This market is actually the oldest Christmas market in France and one of the oldest ones in Europe! Strasbourg is also referred to as the Capital of Christmas!

it is not on this list of the 10 oldest Christmas markets in Europe.

As a matter of interest @graciemckitten, for the clowns of Liarland to ask our moderators are you OK, then that would have to come for a Tattler? How wonderful you have pissed them of with your forensic work.

This appears to be their MO. They did the same to Selmar. To undermine or cast doubt on a person's mental health, especially a person who they consider a threat, is a strategy they favour.

Oh I thought she said it was one of the oldest towns? She mentioned the market didn't start until the 90's. So impressed with the rebuilding of the town after WWI. I wish they'd do the same in America with old crumbling buildings. Instead, they are usually scraped and replaced with non-descript blocks. Boring and depressing. Kudos to the people of Arras. As for the rest of it, I mean it looks like any winter market, anywhere. I'm starting to think she is purposely trolling Phillip by showing him begging for goodies everywhere they go. Why does she show that? "May I?" "No" Over and over. Discuss off camera, even the viewers are getting secondhand embarrassment if the comments are any indication.

I’m impressed because the good, caring, hard-working people of Arras rebuilt an entire city from the devastation of war faster than Fanny can finish renovating her crumbling shitoo.

Where there’s a will there’s a way, but to Fanny, the shallow, self-indulgent, lying narcissist, it’s all just become a big fat joke and grifting game she thinks she deserves to win because she’s a spoiled, lazy pretend princess in a pretend castle. It makes me angry how Fanny USES people.
