Do you think Lady Bountiful shares her ill-gotten gains with either co-owner? I don't. She and she alone, bravely, exhaustively is providing (dis)content to fortunate shut-ins and therefore, could discontinue that avenue today (if she weren't such an exhibitionist).

@KyBourbon I'm sure my new appartment (5 years in the future) will be a rental. Unless I can find some click'n'stick wallpaper I'm sure I'll more or less have to paint it.
The wallpaper will have to wait till I return home to my childhood home.

@C'est moi - joining the skincare discussion. I use rose water as a facial toner. There's something relaxing and refreshing about it. ❤

You think so? I have always noticed that weird thing he does with his jaw - it was always there - we just didn't see it so up close and personal, close enough that you could see his tongue wiggling around in there!

I watched his vlog about an hour ago. I enjoyed it. He sees things that I would notice and enjoy looking at. And he has a fantastic sense of humor, particularly about himself, which I find refreshing.

I'm no expert, and it has taken me over 40 years to find skin care that suits me and is safe and saine. As a foolish youngster, I fell into the advertising hype of all the big cosmetic companies. Of those, the best I found for me in my mid 30's was Elizabeth Arden. The worst for me was Cliniques 3 step facial skincare, which took many years to recover from. From adolescence, I suffered with oily, spot prone skin. I was using scrubs with apricot husk in it, toners that could have been acid they stung so bad.

Whenever I visited France I would peruse the pharmacy skincare shelves and take home a selection of thermal water lotions and potions. They were soothing and comfortable. Back then none of these products were available in the UK so between visits to France I would get products from the cosmetic ranges in the large stores that were simply unsuitable for me.

Moving to France was a godsend for my skin. Of the thermal skincare ranges my favourites are Avene, Vichy and La Roche Posay. There are definitely soothing and healing powers in those thermal waters. It's like witchcraft. I like, and so does my skin, the physical act of washing my face with a "soap". I, personally, do not use a toner. Never found one to suit. I use a spritz of thermal water from a spray can. Avene is my favourite but if I can't get that Evian spray is equally as good.

So my dear @Iolair I wouldn't be so bold as to recommend something to another. What works for me doesn't always work for someone else. But a spritz of thermal water is cooling, gentle and closes those pores. My grandmother used to make a toner from witch hazel and rose water, and she had beautiful skin. Recipes all over the internet.

Grief, but Despicable fanny and her sidekick Thrush are boring.

@ComtesseRose I love your cloud walls. Go for it. I'm all for calm in my life now. Imagine how serene it would be to wake up to those clouds... adorable.

My son took part in a strongest man contest on Saturday and as it was very warm I lent him my Avene doing water spray. 💪💪💦🔫

I have a cucumber toner from Boots that I keep forgetting about, but I'll look for the Rosewater and Glycerin next time I'm out and about. With all these wonderful facial care suggestions, I'm going to look like a goddess!
 
Timey Wimey - Fanny uses various tricks to push multiple vlogs out while using only a day or two of actual footage.

Bedroom Shots - gets 3 shots on one morning
- films the courtyard from her front window & declares what a gorgeous day it is
- films the lawn/empty pond from her back bedroom window & declares what a gorgeous day it is
- films the chapel from her back bedroom window & declares what a gorgeous day it is

Guest Dinners
- rarely shows 2 guest dinners in a row. Instead Fanny usually separates guest dinners with other vlogs in between to pretend the dinners were days apart and on different weekends
- emphasizes the dinner tables to show how different they are from each other
- look closely and you'll see the same guests, but Fanny seats them differently at the time. She also attempts to hide some people off- camera, but someone will usually sneak into the shoot
- Fanny also tries to cover up the faces of dinner guests with the pop-ups at the end of the vlog

Filmed 3 vlogs in 1 day - Davy never changes his clothes between the 3 vlogs
First Vlog - Changing the Garden Plans
