*** I do not understand how people can eat grapefruit ..... so sour !
They can mess with your blood thinner too.

Tell me Rexy ..... do you put a little red cherry in the center of your halved grapefruit like you see in photos?
That's the only thing I would eat! :love:

I miss eating pink grapefruit. I sort of never think of putting that on the grocery list ! My mum did have does serrated small spoons too. I much prefer to slice my grapefruits in "supreme", I could eat a bowl like that !

@Pekey, my new camping friend! :ROFLMAO: The only meds I take are multivitamins, so I am okay. While I am not a fan of artificial "sour" foods (like candies that are), I put lemon on literally everything, put ACV or balsamic straight up on salads with a little bit of EVO, and yes, I love grapefruit. (I also like bitter foods, like celery and radishes, which Mr. T Rex finds disgusting- "You alone are keeping the celery farmers in business! No one eats that vile alleged 'vegetable'!")

Alas, no maraschino cherries- I am suspicious of fruits that have that much artificial colouring and corn syrup that they no longer resemble a fruit! But, I will share my Walker's shortbread, HobNobs and TimTams with you! (Life is a balance!)

Your way is much more socially acceptable @Fromthenorth ! I just look like a bogan with standing over the sink with a paper towel! (If I do get a bunch of them on sale, I will actually put forth some effort at supreme-ing them when prepping my fruit and veg for the week!)

Good Lord, I turn my back for one minute (okay, it’s been like 6 months) and the dog has passed. This vlog is becoming more like a game of Clue than a chateau diary. He fell of the roof with a candlestick in the drawing room with the butler…….mystery deaths, disappearances and palace intrigue.

and now the poor little dog. What she described sounded like another dog thought Lancelot looked and sounded like a squeeky toy and took it from there, but I couldn't watch Fanny exploit tragedy for ad revenues, so maybe it wasn't that.

Hope everyone here is well…..we probably all have our dramas but sending out good vibes to all. Im hooked on Our French Chateau now…the American couple with a wry sense of humor, and even enjoy the occasional michael petherick…. and in real life tending to my garden.

As an animal lover, CD has been hard to watch ..the sheep, the cat, the birds and chickens…none seem particularly well-cared for by Fanny. Poor dog was content And deserved better.
