Dang it @ Comtesse Rose - I was about to compliment Isabelle on her fast retorts to the typically idiot questions of her followers , which you made up as well? After masterminding most of the 316 threads, you are woven into the fabric👋👋👋
Honestly the characters in the vlogs are soo weird, sometimes I can't distinguish the spoofs from 'reality'. I mean that revolting pic of Gerry's head - has he had a lobotomy - or is Kiki or Toronto or the rest of the Special Effects team been working on it?
It's Lax isn't it, that may develop into Laxative on the day? My Scandi is all Ikea-based I'm afraid - I love that they keep the original & you have to puzzle through. Sjorarapport = salmon? My favourite jam Sylt Brabbar (?) may be blackcurrant . Marie's English is fluent & I prefer her accent 1,000 times to that affectation of Snorts. I pity her trying to rustle up a 3 day menu with little knowledge or practice in that kitchen that is Grand Central for

all the inmates to dump stuff, talk or eat all day. Why couldn't Fanny for once hire cateres to make it easier & show respect to her Patreons for once?
And her staff🙄I am sure Amaury raced back to pitch the 4077th MASH tent in time

Brabarsyltetøy is one of my fav too (blackberry jam) 😋

I have to add, the only kind of salmon I want to be eating in July is cold poached, with sauce verte and Russian salad (with turnip, please). Indoors to protect the mayo. Or a wonderful dish I had at the Hay Adams Hotel in DC: Herbed (chives and tarragon, I think) cold poached salmon on a bed of lemony garlicky cuminy lentil salad, with plenty of fennel root, and a touch of my favorite food, lemon zest. That was delicious.

It's not sensible to go all la-de-la at a summer garden party for a lot of guests. The heat everyone is talking about on the day is not tropical steamy heat as I am used to, but let's say it will be warm outside, so cold food, prepared early morning on the day, is the go. This is what I would serve here in the heat and eating outside under fans.

Cold Spanakopita
Cold Salmon Quiche
Cold Onion Tarts
Huge green salads
Dressings
BBQ cooked by someone who is sensible!
Chicken Teriyaki skewers
Vegetable Skewers
Fruit/Prosciutto/mozzarella/melon skewers

Followed by huge bowls of strawberries, melon, rasp etc and runny cream and bought delicious cake from the local bakery.

You need food that is easy to serve, easy to prepare early morning and fresh. It aint rocket science.

New canopy in the front yard. Does this mean Fanny has splashed out this year and upgraded over the original 4077th MASH tent from the Korean War.

Seeing Nick touring the chapel, it dawned on me (sans the stained glass ) I am reminded the expensive paint job resembles a Romany gypsy caravan wagon more than a chapel.
With all that needs doing before the Patreon days why is the attic the main focus? I can hear my favorite faux Frenchman Rene' saying "you stupid woman!"

Oohhhhhh grrrrrrrl. As you may have guessed, I love a good menu. I'm imagining taking alternate bites of spanakopita and salmon quiche as we speak. I have crumbs on my chin and chipmunk cheeks. My eyes are rolling back.....

Meanwhile back at a real Chateau (Purnon), the progress over the last 4 years has been astounding. The last wing's roof is coming to a completion, so the renovation of the interior is beginning, which is going to be done respectfully to its past, as it IS a monument historique. The priority right now is to replacing the plumbing and electrics first (remember, they already replaced the heating system as well) as well as making a few rooms liveable. They've already partnered with Farrow & Ball to recreate the original wallpapers and have collaborated on a Purnon line. THIS is how a renovation is done- while Felicity and Tim have received grants and have a Patreon, viewers can easily see where every cent is spent. They have done an amazing job- hired architects, skilled craftsmen and historians to make sure that it is not only structurally sound, but restored to its historical significance.
Can tattlers please clarify for me, I thought the roof, the outbuilding and the Architect was from the French government grants for monumet historique.
No way would they have the money to complete or those jobs, it is millions inmy estimation. So what are they paying for and what is the French government?

I pointed out the damaged walls in the room she and Gerry are 'clearing' out to Mr GM. He thinks there is damage to the roof, which Tattlers already knew. However, he also said you wouldn't want to be in there for long because of the mould. You can see a sizeable patch of black mould on the ceiling near the door.

When she was standing next to Philip in the kitchen 'sipping' her drink . . . I thought petite dyke.

And the back view of Philip walking into the chapel with Nick . . . that boy has turned into a lard arse.
Both Fanny & Snorty are looking a bit wide across the derriere. The official medical condition is OSA (Online Shopping Ass). Maximum, F&S are at the shitoo two nights a week eating prison rations with B&B guests, and the rest of the week they are away on vacay gorging on 3 square meals a day plus copious vats of booze & ice cream.

I know right, easy stuff to make on the day. Even when I have a small lunch for 6-8 ladies, I get up very early and cook on the morning. Everything is prepped the day before and I just chuck it together THAT day.
Marie is having an assistant apparently, she could rope in Pavlina(who I think would be good) and have them prep for her, marinade the chicken for her, thread the skewers, run to the bakery on the morning, pick up the FRESH fruit each day.......

Adam Liaw's home made teriyaki sauce:
250 ml soy sauce
200 ml Mirin
200ml sake
60-90g white sugar
Put in saucepan and heat until sugar is dissolved, don't boil. Bottle in the just finished bottle of wine! Keeps forever in the fridge.
Here in the US i have never heard of fabric on walls... So she took old fabric off the walls saved.it for 20 years and plans to put it up somehwere else? Doesn't it stink?? I find the whole thing so gross and strange. Correct me do people really re.use old musty fabric??

I'm with you - I don't care for the sweet ones. Here in the US, I always used Soy Vey, but it was so salty, I switched to their low sodium version, which I can no longer find now. I started using Kikkoman several months ago - never saw it before at the grocery that I shop in. Now, I have three bottles of it as backups! I like the triple ginger one.....but the gochujang spicy miso one is a favorite, too! They both have half the sugar and sodium than Soy Vey, so I'm pretty happy with them!

Kikkoman is what they use extensively in Japan - so gotta be good.

So much effort was put into Narnia. Lugging heavy wardrobes up to the attic and organizing Christmas Decorations, Easter Decorations, Costumes, Fabrics, etc.......

Why is there still this other attic room filled with old costumes and fabrics, let alone all the other crap? Why wasn't all this old tit consolidated a couple of years ago and placed in Narnia before it was condemned?

Suddenly it's a priority to organize this attic room - why? Because Fanny knows she can't take to her bed again before a big event feigning a bad back or there may be a mutiny. Hiding up in the attic playing dress-up with Gerry is Fanny's way of avoiding doing any real work to prepare for Patron Day. Cinderfanny does not do manual labour!

LadyBottom - we must add that to Philip's lengthy list of nicknames

It's kind of weird that Stephanie Jarvis displayed her lingerie to the world. No rips shown, poor old girl. I wonder if they have ever been washed? Is it a thing to keep ancient lingerie with ancient memories of lust?
I figured the old lingerie were IJ's and the bag of old bras were confiscated from the old patients after their deaths at the Jarvis' nursing home.
