Tonight, I undertook a great social experiment on behalf of all Tartlets.

I was steaming a few different vegetables to serve with my thrown together spiced up chicken thighs, baked to crackling deliciousness. Peas seemed like a nice addition, so I chucked a good handful on top of the other vegetables and then it struck me like a lightning bolt. How many peas did I just chuck in for 1 person. Yes, I counted them. They were frozen peas; peas are not a staple in the tropics!
I counted in multiples of 20 and kind of got to 100. When I was delicately shoveling them into my mouth and watching Monty Don on Islamic Gardens, I counted how many per mouthful on the upside-down fork. It averaged out at 17.

Marie serves how many per guest? 10 and a couple of young broad beans? Who the hell goes to the effort to cook 10 bloody peas per person, which by my scientifically proven theory, doesn't even give you a good mouthful.

I would have to be very pissed to sit down to a plate containing 10 peas, but omg the story telling afterwards would be epic!

(Too many unopened packets and tubs of Rillette for these to be leftovers.). Hampton Court Flower Show runs from 2 -7 July. They are meeting Isabelle and Percy on Friday, 5th July. This means that they are in London for a minimum of 9 days.

It looks like Pavlina sitting at the table on the terrace but who are the two young men in the background? They seem to go in and out of the kitchen door so probably not guests.

Stephany would you consider renting out your apartment to three old ladies next spring? We are going to London then heading to the Cotswold for a seven day hike then back to London before we head back to Canada. Just a thought. It would be great if you would. We are really responsible and trustworthy.

They haven't finished his retirement appointment yet. The back windows of the workyard wing need to be enlarged first. Also, they need to do the finishing of the heating system, the Grand Salon, the terrace, and the lake. Inside the six months of demolition and rebuilding starting in November, maybe they can start again in the new rooms again

@MP-xf6gq Our neighbor in the mountains of NC tried to have a large garage and workshop build with heating. Two and a half years later, and it is almost finished. Getting workers in rural areas is a nightmare. At Lalande, the chimneys were cleaned, and the wood stoves went in first. Now the boilers and electricity plants are in. The vents have to be added to all the wings and ceilings over the next years. It is not like putting in vents in a new house. They have 20 rooms to vent properly first and then, one day, possibly 20 more.

That's interesting! So the "interview" with Sebastian took place on sheep shearing day and not on the day they left for London. Percy and Isabelle arrived on Saturday and left again on Wednesday. No wonder they only needed a small bag. Gerry and Teabag came specifically for the Channel 4 filming. Teabag leaves with Jason after shearing , maybe Sunday? Gerry arrives on Saturday and leaves again for the airport with Permasmile and Snorts, leaving Fanny for an "afternoon of admin." Possibly the 14.25 flight on Monday 24th.

I thought it was peculiar that they went into Gerry's room while he has briefly left. There was still an almost empty glass of juice on top of the drawers. They should have looked at possible lamp shades before Gerry arrived or after he had really left.
