I'm not back, nor up to date, and as much as I wish it to be so, my husband is still not well enough to allow me the time to stay with you and comment on a regular basis. However, I have managed to watch a few of the shiteau antics and I have a few comments...
1/ Pretending to read Shogun is she? Trying her hardest to prove (mainly to herself, I'm sure) that she's up to date and relevant? Dragging that heavy book about on your travels? So dumb. Here's a tip for you Fanny, if you really want to be up to date and relevant, download Audible.
2/ Fanny, I sincerely hope you showered before your bath in Japan. It is considered extremely rude and highly inconsiderate to bathe without showering first. And while you're about it, learn the difference between a bath and an onsen (Oh, and what is and isn't a kimono).
3/ I'm sure someone must have mentioned this before but yes, Gion is closed to foreign tourists because, just like you, they can be rude, loud and obnoxious.
4/ On your visit to the historical Japanese village Fanny, you frequently mentioned the famous road, but obviously didn't know the name of the road, or bother to find out. It's called the Tokaido Road, you dolt! Jeez, it's so famous that kids in rural Uzbekistan (and 47 Ronin) could have told you this!
5/ Stop, please stop filming close ups of Potty's teeth.
6/ Stop, please stop filming Snorts. That's all, just freaking stop!

Bonjour mes amis! I just want to take a minute to thank all of for helping me stay sane. Rough morning with hubby, lots of clean up, he's sick. I just kept thinking that when I'm done cleaning, I can make my morning cup of coffee and settle into Tattle to escape my own woes. As usual, lots of laughs and insights to amuse me. I'm beginning to relax now. No matter how chaotic my life can become at times, it's still more balanced than Fanny's. Hope everyone has at least a decent day!

I couldn't watch it... I hate it when you find a channel you really like and they then do a collaboration with someone you don't like... I don't know the reason for having Ryan, maybe he feels he owes him something. They lost my viewing this time and will do so again if they keep bringing that numpty on. He's another one who has no direction in life.. just flits around like a fly on dung.

Almost forgot, unscheduled, spur of the moment trips to far away places for a few days of culture!
No problem! It will start with the annual mad rush to get ready for the BnB guests. Then move on to daily trips to emmaus, waddles down the garden path, a good five minutes exclaiming the wonders of the first dandelion, pestering poor FRK trying to get dinner on the table. Mid-week is not a problem as Fan and Phi will be out and about on their various mini-breaks dropping in and mooching off other chateau owners staying at 5 star hotels and, of course, shopping. Perhaps, a visit or two to snoop on the relatives in the south of France now and then (more mooching). And wrapping up the season preparing for Patrons day and Fanny's birthday. It's another full schedule of never ending activities! Renos, what renos? No time for that!

Something has been bothering me now that liarsworld has a permanent, albeit probably unpaid, culinary "specialist" (she is trying but she ain't no chef). So I consulted wiki. Many thanks to all the tattlers that have made that source of information available and updated. Anyway, as usual I digress, bear with me... is the nearest convenience to the kitchen the 3rd door on the right, leading away from the kitchen, off the back passage? The toilet of the back breaking flagstones? The toilet of the coloured in wallpaper? The toilet that may, or may not have running water? The toilet that, when you turn the light on, the whole world can see what you're up to because there are no black out blinds or privacy opaqueing? Is this where culinary "specialist" MarIE would go to relieve herself? And, is this the only accessible and available toilet generally available on the ground floor?

And——— I just had a horrible realization- surely they cannot resist attending the Summer Olympics in Paris in July and August. Oh lord.
They will pretend to be sports fans, and everyone will develop fake rivalries based on their long-abandoned countries of origin and go about in competing designer track suits.

Don’t be jealous! Travels give content to the vlog and the vlog makes an income for Stephanie as well as the B&B. She cannot restore the chapel alone, nobody could, because historic buildings are awfully expensive to restore. She spends already a lot in restoration and maintenance of her property. She posts six videos a week of which five are free of charge for us. She is talented and hardworking. I enjoy very much any of her videos
