Okay still consecrated, however desecrated several times by Fanny. Good to know. Makes it all so much worse.

It makes sense that the Holy Eucharist may have been reserved in a tabernacle in the Sacristy. This way the all important Eucharist was secure during times the chapel was not actively being used. If the lantern was removed, it seams the chapel may have indeed been deconsecrated. That is why that gate is there to secure the reserved Eucharist.
 
Yuck! Whose fingernail clipping is that?

That frock is in Narnia hatching larvae as we speak. Never will it be seen again. Hoarder’s Paradise up there. Yards and yards of expensive beautiful fabrics that would have been perfect for window treatments have been feasted upon by moths and nested into by rodents. The black mold begins from the top and creeps on down- festering into every nook and cranny. The stench must be shocking. No wonder Marie is always nursing a sinus infection- she sleeps up there amongst the spores.

Once the heating system is finished and the steel beams arrive, they can rip the ceiling out of the Grand Salon. The flooring above and the work on the hallway and bedrooms will be a big project also. The moving of one bathroom and the creation of the other bathroom will be huge before the B&B season starts

I have so many concerns with the fact that the chapel hasn't been deconsecrated. The Bishop or Priest in the Parish should be contacted. ASAP. It isn't proper as the chapel has not been used as it should be by Catholics in a State of Grace.

Yes, I am not knowledgeable about furniture styles, but I was looking at those DISMAL girandole candlesticks she was talking about decorating the altar with and saying Not Neo Gothic.
I actually like the Pugin-style neo-Goth candlesticks on sale on the internets and think they go much better in there than crystal. Oy.

Aww, bless Mason's heart with that Dumb and Dumber haircut! I'm not certain if he lost a bet, or was still giving himself COVID "at-home" haircuts, but at least Annaliese did her best to unduck it by cutting and styling it before Tess' wedding to make him more presentable. Mason, while an odd ODD dude, compared to Mr. Prancy Pants (Snorts), even with his jacked up (non-painted on) hair and covered in baby chicken poo, went from a rating of a Chateau 7 to a solid Chateau 10 that day. I think even Mason was flummoxed at Fanny's choice in a mate- she's certainly scraped the dregs of the barrel with Snorts.

I will give Snorts his due- he makes all of the chateauverse men appear much hotter than they actually are in real life. Except for Shrek.
