Is it the angle of the photo or is the tree and it’s posts missing?
You and I are scoping out the same thing! I think it might be the angle, but I'm just not sure. I've grown rather cross-eyed from staring and analyzing it, as I've been coming back to it since it was posted. I'm going to come back to it later, as I have to run out and do some errands, unless you solve the mystery first! It is interesting that we talked about the lack of wide shots outside of the chateau and withing a day or so, Marie has posted several in her stories.

By the way, I love your sapphire ring, just beautiful!

Damn, give a girl a warning, I just had breakfast 🤢🤣🤣🤣

Agreed. I don't mind the wallpaper but that mint is a cold icky color. Of course being the A1 designer I am 😉, I think that the darker green would have looked better. I can handle the lighter color on the doors .... Just! But all in all it's a bright clean and pretty looking room to have breakfast, unlike the grubby mouse highway that is Lalande. 🐭🐭🐭
The Shreks are still colour-blind, but the fact that they didn't need to use coloured pencils to fill in any gaps in the wallpaper is a win!

Looks pretty ordinary to me. Waste of money for something like a Kmart accessory.
I watched a YT video about the new Coach line Coachtopia, it’s their new “sustainable” line. This handbag / leather worker took it apart, analyzed the “Coachtopia Leather” to see what it was made of. It was basically plastic with leather dust. And they’re selling these bags for $250!!!!

Yes, it looks good and I really like that Wellington look. I have never made with the puff pastry on top but I believe it can not be that difficult, specially if we buy a good ready made vegan puff pastry. Actually, most puff pastries in the supermarkets freezers are vegan, they never had real butter.
Let me know if you want me to translate any recipe for you…
I personally like the third recipe, with mushrooms in the mixture.
Thank you very much 😘 I might come back to you if I cannot manage; I will try to translate it as I like that sort of exercise/challenge.

Oh Lordy me…the return of one of one MariE’s pipe dreams, working on a gin palace yacht. Getting the STCW isn’t the biggest stumbling block. It’s the mandatory medical certificate, which focuses on very detailed physical and mental health criteria (paraphrasing Tattle comments when FRK unveiled her Maritime Manifestation in 2022).

Even if she did manage to pass the STCW and get the medical certificate (plus the required food hygiene certification), and although she seems on an “up” at the moment, I doubt she’d be able to. stand the disciplined working environment of even the smallest charter yacht, whether motor or under sail. There is also the small but quite important issue of her cooking skills.

M.Y. Loon is quite something. Outrageously opulent, deliciously OTT and I find its YT channel addictive viewing! Maximum of 12 passengers, 19 crew including a head chef and a sous chef. Summer season in the Mediterranean, winter season in the Caribbean. Depending on the season, a week’s charter is between something like US$570,000 and US$640,000 (yes, I looked it up!). Every whim pandered to, guests are cosseted to the nth degree. The food is fabulous, as you’d expect.

As usual, MariE’s dreams are far removed from reality.

It is almost as if there is something transactional happening for Fanny’s rent a mob at Johns…
John does not like the white sausage ( horse?.) sausage pate thing that Dana served up.
Who serves tiramisu in a Pyrex for a birthday cake/ lunch?
---
As Fanny was leaving Snorts did a flirty see you buying paucillin in Limoges goodbye. The next CD will be Snorts fondling china for Johns place.

As long as that’s all he’s fondling (on camera, anyway).

She thinks they're all so elegant and classy, when in truth they're showing themselves as being very gauche and uncouth. Their new found friend John is no better I'm afraid.

Also dogs are most certainly not accepted in all French restaurants and Ten Tonne Tatty was no better backing her up on it. When we had our two we would always ask if they were allowed and being large dogs it was quite often a no, or only out on the terrace (if there was one) over to one side so as not in the way of customers. She would get some very disapproving looks and even complaints (as she should do) by other diners having that dog (even if he's tiny) up on her/his lap. It is not dining etiquette in any way shape or form.

They just think they are beyond any form of reproach.

Ten Tonne Tatty - hilarious!

Do dogs like being upside down?

Fanny has often said she does not like soup especially at supper time, however she deems it ok to be very late home when it is her turn to ‘ cook’ about her own luxurious lunch and serves lightweight courgette soup to her household.
Tante and Toncle are fed up.

The tree from the angle of the RIP chimney sweep.

I wonder if the chimney sweep fell into the espalier frame and destroyed part of it? That’s bound to be too far away. Unless the cherry picker went over and that’s the cause?

Whatever the reason that corner gibbet plus trees are no longer there. There must be something wrong and it is probably something to do with the terrible accident or Fanny would not have stopped filming there. And knowing how she operates she would have been showing it for content as she is constantly scratching around for filler to her vlogs.

This (first photo) is from a vlog 2 days ago. Could be old footage but also found another shot from 2 weeks ago (second photo) in the vlog "Saying Goodbye." Both vlogs are post accident.

Also noticed this one (third photo) doing my "research." It is from a vlog 2 weeks ago, "Lancelot, Lord of Lalande." Shows a night shot of the orange fencing that has gone up around Nick's and Potty's apartments.

Christ, that would have been terrible.
It really would. I’ve seen some hideous industrial accidents, each fatal. The worst was having to hold my late boss in my lap to calm him as he bled out. Nothing I could do except talk to him while our coworkers tried to stop the bleeding. It only takes a split second for everything to go tits up and someone dies. I’m surprised it hasn’t happened before now, given the Jarvis family penchant for cutting corners and charging ahead without the proper prep.
