She was very hesitant to stroke him. Did completely the wrong move going in over his face/head. I was waiting to see if he was going to either growl as before or try to nip. He knows she's no animal lover. He just doesn't have that puppy look about him, perhaps that breed doesn't.

Mr GM commented that holding the pink phone in front of the puppy's face could either fully or partially obstruct it's view of her face thus causing it to be fearful or concerned. Animals need to see another creatures facial expression or eyes . . . so I googled it.
