Deepest Sympathies and Prayers to the deceased, his family and friends. Imo, the chapel should be demolished. No one should enter it or work there again. This is an extremely frightening and horrific tragedy in my opinion.

All should stay far away from Fanny, her ridiculous nonsense and that horrible lalande. How can she go on with her stupid vlogs, her endless greed and superficial lifestyle after this ???

Something is really wrong there. Possibly it’s all Cursed. I would avoid it and her at all costs.
Will Amaury still want to work in the now so grand salon which could be structurally unsafe?

This would’ve been incredibly hard for all of you. It’s not a heavy cloud over the renovations though, I’m sure you will put a plaque or a remembrance section in the garden dedicated to him and others lost building and beautifying your amazing chapel and chateau. Really sad for the family too. I’m sad Maria is leaving, I’m sure though she is going to make occasional appearances in future vlogs.

How lovely having the full full of pee pads. I’ve owned dogs my whole life and never had pads to pee on in my house. That’s disgusting

Maybe you don’t live in a large chateau to get through in the middle of the night in time! It won’t be for long & will save ruining floors etc.

Fanny earlier spoke about the people injured in the tragic accident. Has she spoken about the other workers that were injured or was she lying, as usual, about the number of people injured?

She put the news about Marie and Lancelot footage as a look over there at Marie and Lancelot and not at questions concerning the chapel falling down, etc.

In the U.S., if a workers comp carrier paid a family for the death of a worker, whose death ultimately was caused by an independent third-party, e.g. the Dump, the carrier would sue the Dump to recoup the costs/ monies paid out to the family of the deceased for compensation and medical bills. In the U.S. workers comp coverage is required when a company has a certain number of employees - is it 5 employees? Some of our tattlers who own businesses would know the current number of employees where coverage is mandatory).

If, in France, the worker was an independent contractor, could the family sue the chapel restoration company AND the Dump for compensation
(and let the Dump and the company battle it out to see which entity, if liable, has to each pay for a specific percentage of the compensation due to the family of the man who was killed.) Does French law have specific governmental coverage for independent contractors who are injured or killed on the job? If so, could the French government then go after the Dump or chapel restorers to reimburse the government for any benefits paid out?

I do not know how medical bills are covered in France for a workplace related accident. Does it depend upon whether if the individual is a citizen of France? Are statutes or laws in place which provide that the French government is reimbursed for any medical bills paid by the government that were caused by a third-party, e.g., the chapel restorers, or the Dump? The man was in the hospital for several days prior to death and I would imagine the bills would not be insignificant ( in the U.S., ICU care, emergent treatment, helicopter transport, etc. for a week + could easily run hundreds of thousands of dollars).

I think there are a lot of legal issues to be resolved regarding this situation that possibly/ probably involve the Dump itself. Fanny wants everyone to shut up about liability and milk the poor little orphan princess having to deal with yet another “ emotional” blow this year.

You are correct. I think I confused MarIE’s bedroom with the peeling wallpaper with the bedroom of MarIA which I don’t ever recall seeing on video.

I am pretty sure in France all hospital costs, including transfer and emergency room etc… are gratis. Specially if the hospital is public. Even the private hospitals will be gratis in case of emergencies like that. I think. It doesn’t matter if the person is not a French national. I think. That’s how it is here in Norway. Here, there is not such a thing as a hospital bill…

Unless if you go to the hospital for occasional check ups and other tests and appointments that are not emergencies. Any longer type of treatment and hospital care are gratis. But if you go to the hospital for a yearly test you may have to pay a small contribution for the service, it is called egen andel'. It is a small fee really, can not compare to anything in the USA.

The accident is tragic. I think for anyone there at the time it would have been immensely traumatic and sad and you could see that on Amaury's face, it would be something that would stay with you. Who knows how it happened, I am thinking it might have been inserting the flue for the log burner at the contractor would have been so high up. The chapel the scaffolding was still on the floor and the landing is softer onto grass. I'm certain Amaury would be good in a crisis and I am also sure he has a tonne of empathy, something Fanny lacks

Stephanie probably can't say too much at this point publicly. Yes, she is being respectful to the contractor's family but there are legal processes that must be followed and more than likely will continue for months.

If this occurred in Australia, medical personnel and the police would have been called immediately. After the police had concluded their investigation they would then have to prepare a report to the coroner.

WorkSafe investigators would also attend. They would have spoken to witnesses and taken detailed photographs of the scene. They would interview co workers present at the time, and any other independent witnesses pertinent to the case. They would investigate equipment and processes at the site. An autopsy would be conducted to determine if there were pre-existing medical conditions that may have impacted upon the person's death. Then there would be a coroner's inquiry into the death, requiring everyone connected to the death, and in all likelihood, there would also be a WorkSafe inquiry. In time the coroner would hand down their report recommending what actions will be taken including fines and even goal time where negligence or other criminality has occurred. Workplace deaths are considered to be extremely serious and if wrong-doing is discovered there are significant repercussions. This process may be different in France. As the person who most likely initiated the work, Stephanie would be part of the inquiry at some level.

In my opinion, Stephanie has over simplified the situation and has left out a lot of information.

Fanny was EXTREMELY careful not to even mention the sex of the contractor.
Also I am amazed a funeral was arranged so quickly . What faith where they!!?
In the UK funerals take a while longer.
Here in France, unless there are suspicious circumstances, funerals are next day of the day after. Done and dusted. None of the hanging around like in the UK with a the funeral directors making the "add-ons". It's a clean break.

Fanny says that HE was rushed to hospital. I agree that the funeral seems to have been arranged very quickly. Is this possible in France?
No. It's normal.

What will Pavlina do without MarIA’s companionship? Is Pavlina working on an exit strategy?
What has Pavlina really ever done??? She ended up being on the payroll, right? She never cooked....never shown making a bread run or cleaning. Chicken care??? Maybe. There will be no "gardening" with winter setting in. And I put gardening in quotes because we saw her picking some veg occasionally. She is not an interesting conversationalist. I think she has over stayed her welcome by a long shot. She could go to Florida and stay for a bit with Jared and hubby if she truly is a refugee.

One of the South Korean vloggers who I watch . . . Sueddu . . . lives in a high rise apartment.
She has a dear little poodle called Bebe.
Bebe goes for daily walks but has also been trained to use a pee pad.
As she is now quite old and seems to have doggy dementia, Bebe has started peeing around the apartment meaning Sueddu is constantly lifting the carpet tiles to wash down.

CD Dialogue
Fanny - ‘Oh what a great day to be alive’
FRK - ‘The flowers are dying’
Fanny - ‘But not dying fast enough’

Can’t believe Fanny choose to include those phrases in the CD. I found it insensitive and, unsurprisingly, in poor taste, even for Fanny

My thoughts and prayers go out to the contractor who died, his friends and family. Sadly, it was likely someone involved with the chapel restoration, because if it was heating I believe Amuary would have been very distraught because he’s worked closely with them and the owner is his friend.

At least the 🐄 didn’t do take after take of crocodile tears at the funeral like she did at Ian’s funeral. Likely not that she didn’t want it to be about her, but knew she get slammed (again) for disingenuous behaviour. And I see Philips finally got a dog, likely not because she wanted one, but it would get views and she’d continue to get slammed for being a controlling mean witch.

Love the dog’s expression when Fanny was talking to it.
‘I don’t trust her ‘his eyes say.
