Stephanie is apparently a country singer🤣🤣
She tells us it is her life’s work to restore the chateau …not only the building but emotionally!
She quotes Macbeth blah blah and Dan say it how it is ‘ Stephanie has no idea how big this project of making a swimming pond is’
Then I gave up. It’s old footage .
Fanny is acting.
 
This *itch always manages to leave me speechless. How irreverent to report on someone's death amidst all these trivialities. She stopped filming because it was a good excuse for her laziness. But away from the pink phone, back to everyday life. And the fact that Maria is leaving the dump could have been announced in one of the following vlogs - but anything that distracts from the misfortune is probably just right. And her wayward brother plays the clown, which is probably more than inappropriate... but Madame Characterless publishes it instead of being ashamed of it.

I know many people don't like Maria, but I will miss her. But I congratulate her on this decision.

What will Pavlina do without MarIA’s companionship? Is Pavlina working on an exit strategy?
 
I've been trying to look at H&S stuff for France. Seems like France has one of the worst workplace death rates in the EU. There is an Inspectorate so whilst she's not the employer, I imagine the site would have to be examined to determine circumstances. I wonder if it occured while scaffolding was being erected. From what was said previously it sounded like the ground around the chapel was either soft or had compacted and was most likely uneven. Such a terrible thing to happen to anyone.
 
So, a man fell and died from his injuries :eek: that is really tragic. A lot worse that I imagined.

I did not see the video but some of you offered some insights about the content saying she did not mention from which crew. Better that way, I think.

I wonder, were there more than two working crews (the heating guys and the chapel workers)?
Also, was the worker who passed away French or British? She probably didn’t say anything about that. If he was French that would make it clear that he was French. I think Fanny is in a more complex situation if the worker who died was French. Then all the labor laws will apply to the accident.

Thank goodness Maria is leaving, she is so annoying and a terrible cook. Not that I watch their videos. Actually, everyone at LieLand is extremely annoying.

I thought MariAs bedroom had just been redecorated and filmed for British TV ? If Fanny knew Maria was leaving would she have done this?
I agree that Pavlina was uncomfortable being filmed tonight.
Fanny left both windows open in her bedroom overnight yet did not know it was raining. Really, are they both such heavy sleepers they don’t hear those rotten windows rattling in the rain?
They hear when Lancelot has peed his pad tho!? Or was that so called rainwater Lancelots wee ?

There is a quiet significant muslim population in France, from the old French colonies like Morocco, Algeria etc… and according to their traditions the funeral of someone has to take place in 24 hours after the death or something like that. I am not a specialist, I actually know nearly nothing about muslim traditions, I am just repeating something I read in some newspaper once.

I would not like being dragged out after cooking a big meal to play the piano ...... cooking is exhausting - even done weirdly!

Silly old Marie will be used for the kitchen , dog care and anything else Fanny can think of while she is away in SA and then she will be spat out.

Well I see Lancy has the best of dog coats but all he wanted to do was play with Molly. You have to let the dogs sort it out! I don't think Fanny really likes the dog but its good for content - especially with the tragedy that happened.
Won't last long.

Fanny did not "push it" like she did with the Plasterer's family and film the funeral so I think she is very , very worried about the legal's IMO.

In the U.S., if a workers comp carrier paid a family for the death of a worker, whose death ultimately was caused by an independent third-party, e.g. the Dump, the carrier would sue the Dump to recoup the costs/ monies paid out to the family of the deceased for compensation and medical bills. In the U.S. workers comp coverage is required when a company has a certain number of employees - is it 5 employees? Some of our tattlers who own businesses would know the current number of employees where coverage is mandatory).

If, in France, the worker was an independent contractor, could the family sue the chapel restoration company AND the Dump for compensation
(and let the Dump and the company battle it out to see which entity, if liable, has to each pay for a specific percentage of the compensation due to the family of the man who was killed.) Does French law have specific governmental coverage for independent contractors who are injured or killed on the job? If so, could the French government then go after the Dump or chapel restorers to reimburse the government for any benefits paid out?

I do not know how medical bills are covered in France for a workplace related accident. Does it depend upon whether if the individual is a citizen of France? Are statutes or laws in place which provide that the French government is reimbursed for any medical bills paid by the government that were caused by a third-party, e.g., the chapel restorers, or the Dump? The man was in the hospital for several days prior to death and I would imagine the bills would not be insignificant ( in the U.S., ICU care, emergent treatment, helicopter transport, etc. for a week + could easily run hundreds of thousands of dollars).

I think there are a lot of legal issues to be resolved regarding this situation that possibly/ probably involve the Dump itself. Fanny wants everyone to shut up about liability and milk the poor little orphan princess having to deal with yet another “ emotional” blow this year.

You are correct. I think I confused MarIE’s bedroom with the peeling wallpaper with the bedroom of MarIA which I don’t ever recall seeing on video.

I watched a couple of the Mapperton videos last night. The woman in the videos who was on the London housewives show is also extremely annoying. Let’s add her to the list of annoying chateau people.

If Fanny is saying he fell and was injured, it still doesn’t rule out the chapel ceiling or portions of walls collapsing onto the man, hitting him in the head, knocking him off scaffolding, or causing him to slip or fall to the ground or chapel floor which had been covered with plywood.
 
Deepest Sympathies and Prayers to the deceased, his family and friends. Imo, the chapel should be demolished. No one should enter it or work there again. This is an extremely frightening and horrific tragedy in my opinion.

All should stay far away from Fanny, her ridiculous nonsense and that horrible lalande. How can she go on with her stupid vlogs, her endless greed and superficial lifestyle after this ???

Something is really wrong there. Possibly it’s all Cursed. I would avoid it and her at all costs.
