Mr. Permasmile has really packed on the pounds over the last 2-3 years. He seems to be in an eating competition with Shrek. Even the oversized kimonos did not fit well. Soon he’ll have to wear XXL cameos/brooches. Here’s hoping walking the new dog will encourage some weight loss.

Exactly. You could probably do it in just over 1.5 hours but only if the motorway wasn’t snarled up.

I've no idea why she wittered on about having to go “across town”, which sounded like battling traffic through Central London, when the obvious route is more or less M25 or dual carriageway from Gatwick to Stansted. A tiny thing that I’d probably not even have registered when CD was something other than 100% twaddle but nowadays every vlog is a sea of stupidity.

The matron of the poor orphaned princesses, would calmly walk out the airport by 12 with her bags, take a taxi and drive for an hour , and hour and a half and she'd still have1 hour and 35 minutes or 1 hour and 5 minutes to drop off her bags

Shrek would have fixed the roof but it would not support his ever increasing weight. The Sewer… same issue.

They need to get their priorities straight and remove the hideous wallpaper in the entrance hall and throw the cheap faux antique furniture in a bonfire. They have absolutely no taste. But hey… they’re from Fergus.

He pulls in enough money, to book a construction company and profesionally do the walls + roof. Even if a profesional company does the work for him, he'll still have enough to work on for years. Why is he pulling a fanny?
Based on his average daily views of 300K he'd still make $1485 a day while the construction company is there?
He will have time to prefilm stuff and upload it on a saturday and sunday to 'cover' for the extra costs.

Smh, these people are so near sighted and non creative, that they can only look at each other for 'inspiration'.

You’re forgetting social charges and impôts, Dans status = 20 tva, 46% social charges and a hefty impôt contribution. All this needs to be paid before employing anyone.
to pay a 3k salary it cost the employer 5,5k. I know as I work in renovation in France.
Most trades will be charging more than this.

Dan only has a garden maintenance business to declare his earnings so we can presume that the dump is his primary residence or owned by someone else otherwise he would have an SCI or an association.

Nothing that Dan does on yt/patreon can be deducted from his gardening business therefore it’s all profit. Fool.

He should have bought the dump under a business structure to efficiently reduce his social charge/tax liability whilst being able to employ people and deduct the cost through the business which derives income from yt and patreon.
He could also pay himself a salary and reap the benefits of a favorable French system.
Instead, he thinks his dump will be worth something once it’s finished and he can cash in on the plus value which will never be the case because it will always be worthless if he is working on it. Double fool.

I love this forum! Do you know if he has another company registered to his name other than the gardening thing. If he hasn't that's another stupid mistake he is making.
can you give us a guestimate on how much the roof + walls would costs and how long it would take for a professional company to do it?

With his current earnings, which have a substantial growth every month, he can easily hire 3 fulltime employees at 16.5K + 29250 left each month for materials. He even has a buffer in case his spending exceeds his income.
He is as transparent as Fanny is, with only difference that he works.

You answered your question! He is 'pulling a Fanny' because he does look to her as his inspiration!
Like Fanny, there is not a real intention to "renovate".
IMO, the intent is only to create views. This is why you see him moving only "6 bricks a day" - I loved that description you gave!

I live in an area where there aren’t many Mansart roofs. But, if using traditional materials starting at approx €250-300m2 excluding charpente (wooden structures) access above 2 stores and insulation.
Dans is a complete renewal, it could easily be €500m2 if not more with a scaffold, zinc work and ornamental windows. Well in to Six figures if done properly and safely with a guarantee.

Rebuilding stone walls start at €200m2 (50cm width - materials) depending on ceinture (reinforced concrete belt piliers) and foundation depth. None of which you see Dan doing.
Dans roof will be a mess like everything he does. I doubt he even had a set of plans or permission.

my brain can not process why someone would look at SJ for inspiration since her views has been going down, her subscribers has increased slightly but less then 50% of her subscribers watch her flogs. So 6 bricks a day Danny, knows that after a while he needs to come up with something else, that's about now.
Because of tattle I hyper focused on YouTube flog world for a while (one wonders why chateau verse haven't since they depend on the success of their channels). Different target audience, different focus of channel, the description of the flogs etc. I do not ever claim to know as much as @Karma baby! does about social media marketing. Dan, SJ and the Pethericks, are doing it wrong according to the long term successful channels I have analysed. Although Dan does far better at the moment then the rest of the verse, his time of stagnation will come too, because the progress is slow, repetitive, the arrogance oozes out of every fibre of his being and like many I hate to watch dangerous situations. He thinks people tune in to watch renovations only, but boy is he wrong.

As someone who used to book taxi's for my VP Boss, they wouldn't have had change from £200 and that was years ago. His time was money, but those two :rolleyes:

EDIT : He always had a 'good' car, roomy Merc for instance. I doubt Fanny & Snorts woud settle for less
