Does anyone know much about Thomas Sinner’s business? He opened a bed shop, much fanfare and Rylan cutting the ribbon. But it’s barely ever open and today it looked like they started emptying it. Seems a bit pointless to have a shop that’s never open and then get rid of it relatively quickly

From twitter, had a nosey & looks like he's had a change in direction. i didn't know he'd sold bosh beds (added: last March, but still in contract to promote them until recently) , the shop hasn't been mentioned recently so possibly just on a short term to see how well it did. Overheads probably outweigh what he sold so might not be viable to continue.

Good luck to him whatever he does, seems a very decent bloke 😊

Thank you for this. Yes I wish him good luck as well

The show is essentially a comedy/entertainment show not a business one. They could easily get 12 articulate business-savvy people but it would be boring.
I liked when they casted a bunch of people who thought they were good at business and they had inflated egos but then weren’t that great on the tasks because they were out of their comfort zone. Nowadays the casting is so off for me as it’s usually people who’ve started a business a year ago just to get on the show and have barely any work experience at all

Yep some of the candidates were literally CEO level back then. Now we have selling tat to family and friends level.

They definitely need to mix it up a bit. If you look at First Dates oftentimes it’s the more mature daters who bring something to the party. A lot of the younger ones are clones. Same with The Apprentice.

So many things I want to say about this show.

- I think Dani is the best candidate this year, in spite of her distracting appearance she has done very little wrong.

- Avi is the most irritating person I think I’ve ever seen on TV. Nothing endearing about him at all he just chats tit and makes himself look thick as tit.

- Despite watching every episode, I still know very few candidates by name.

- It absolutely riles me up when they have Karen and Tim there to observe and report back, and yet they let the candidates sit in front of Sugar and tell absolute complete lies to cover their own mistakes, and Karen & Tim will just sit there despite the fact they know what they’re saying is completely false. Example: last week when Sohail was saying Bradley hadn’t done anything to help and hadn’t contributed, when we had all seen with our own two eyes and ears that he was the one who wanted to add more features to the lunchbox and Sohail demanded it be removed because “brown is better” its so odd.

- The tasks this year have been dreadful and I haven’t actually enjoyed any episode. The candidates have no fire or personality, they never really seem to clash.

- That last task did my nut because the lunchbox Dani designed was actually cute and they were completely correct, for a younger demographic it was spot on. So therefore despite the fact she missed Sugar’s briefing - a supermarket surely would stock them regardless as they’d still fly off the shelves?!

There is probably much more and I’m so glad to have found this thread! It’s the only reality show I actually still manage to watch every year.

ETA to add one more thing (sorry lol) - Tim’s fake reactions to everything proper annoys me, it is so clear they record the reactions after the tasks because there’s no way he’s that obviously outraged and the candidates can’t see it 🤣 it’s not subtle at all
