I don't think Sugar likes food businesses that much. I remember being sure Luisa (series 9) was going to win with her cupcake business but I think in the end he said it was just too safe or something. Wouldn't be surprised if Kathryn did somehow pull it off

He has invested in a couple of food businesses already so I can't see him going for Harpreet somehow. But I don't think he'll be overly keen on Kathryns business either, I know he had issues with Sian and her swimwear a few years ago (though he did ultimately invest in her) because of the levels of stock they'd need to hold.

I think they should do the interview/business plan at the beginning. I bet there's been some brilliant ideas that have been lost because a candidate was fired early on. Instead of seeing them up to fail they could mentor the candidates up until the end. It probably wouldn't be as entertaining but it would be nice to see them grow and develop their skills.

I think would be an interesting way to go with see all the plans at the beginning and tasks set around those plans

I’ve joined this late this year so I’m sure you’ve all talked about this already but I really cannot get behind the format for this show. What’s the point of all those tasks and weeding out of candidates when you’re left with a collection of completely lame uninspiring unoriginal business ideas to choose from? I mean well done to them for getting anything up and running and making money at it, but that doesn’t mean it’s an interesting investment proposition - that pyjamas girl is running an overpriced online shop, who’d want to invest in that? I just keep thinking they’d be laughed out of the Den if they put these ideas to the Dragons.

It’s not a show about business. It’s an entertainment show. They have the business plans up front. They know who they want to invest in from the start. I dread to think what business ideas the ones who have been fired have if this dross is what they ended up with. Kathryn has a little PJ side hustle going on, but she wants to be a tv personality, that’s her real business plan. Harpreet does actually want to expand her business, there is more authenticity there, although I don’t like her. Kathryn is like a Love Island reject, but I prefer her to Harridan Harpreet.

Everyone of these lot would turn up on Dragons Den. One of the dragons would say "where's your intellectual property?" And "I can recreate this instantly" and "for those reasons, I won't be investing, I'm out".

Though not convinced these would even get in the Den to be laughed out in the first place.
