I wonder if they're are the best, though. There is always a suspiciously wide range of backgrounds, types of education and business experience. Every single season.
Isn't the show about those who are not the most talented, though? People with some skill but who think more highly of themselves than their skills allow? Isn't the whole premise of the show, at least until the final five, to see them stumble over tasks and make a mess of them? If it all went smoothly, the focus and entertainment level of the programme would be altogether different. Mitchell and Webb saw this many years ago:
 
If Harpreet wins and her sister has to leave the partnership she could continue the business in competition with Harpreet’s?!

Anyway I am pleased we found out who the buyer was of the QVC garment steamer 😂

Nothing would give me the ick quicker than seeing a man in matching PJs 🤢🤣 I can't work out why Sugar has chosen that for the final 2. Isn't this something only instagram families do at christmas? Maybe a summer holiday?

I think Stephanie was right in that the pre loved industry is growing quickly and I'd have liked to see him invest in that, but her business plan was obviously all guess work and let her down.

I'd guess that Harpreet will win, yeah hes invested in similar businesses before but he's in it for the money and obviously knows what's working. Even one of his advisers said that deserts cafes are growing massively.
 
Maybe he will diversify the pyjamas thing if he chooses her? Sian marie who won for swim wear a few years ago has become a loungewear brand (I think because of the pandemic) and it seem to be doing successfully.

Thought it was interesting they actually mentioned sustainability/ using chinese factories / producing it locally maybe it's the BBC trying to reach their sustainable production goals 😂

But yeah matching pyjamas give me the ick and i don't see how it has a huge market although I feel Harpreet could of shot herself in the foot with the sister thing.
 
The problem I have with their business ideas is that there’s nothing new or wow about them. You can get matching pyjamas in many shops now for cheap prices and as for dessert places i think there was a big surge in them being the new in thing but that’s died down a lot now.

I hope Claude is back too. I suppose it just depends on how his leg is recovering, whether he would be fit enough to withstand being on his feet all day.

Although, after this series being as tit as it has been, the whole show could really do with going in the bin.

I have to agree. For me it just doesn't work in the business partner format as it is at the moment. Some of the candidates, like Brittany would be great if they were given a role in his existing companies as they are generally good at what they do. But I feel 99% of them are plucking a business idea or of thin air so they can appear on the show. I think there's only Harpreet of the final four that had an established business looking for investment.
