An update on Leah and Jeremy without actually being an update 😂 he and a group of guys plus his girlfriend went to the restaurant to confront/threaten Leah. Police were called and Leah filed a protective order. It will be covered on tm and given that Leah NEVER talks about anything publicly means we are all gonna forget this happened until it pops up on tm and even then we don’t know if they will tell the whole story, like they didn’t with Jaylen

What a shame if this is right, Addie used to be so emotional when her dad came back from working away. Obviously something has happened and he must have told all his friends and gf it’s Leah’s doing. How embarrassing for them all to get involved in his personal stuff like that

You just wonder what this is all over? It's got to be a big issue for him to publicly do this. It seems from the outside very OTT and to turn up "mob handed" as we might say (though it doesn't say how many friends was with him). That's intimidating.
 
The thing is just because she’s got an order of protection doesn’t mean much in the US as we’ve seen with Kail who used to take these orders out on all of her ex partners (even if she was in the wrong) and they would get granted. She did it three times whilst on the show! I think there is more to it. Jeremy was always painted the bad guy and enemy even when they split, turned out Leah was not only a drug addict, had their house in an absolute state but she was also cheating too. He wanted to divorce her and he was made to be a bad guy. I just don’t think Leah is purely innocent. Be interesting to see how the show spins this.

Yeah it seems to be so easy to just get orders of protection in American how on earth do they just hand them over so freely

Although I never really thought Jeremy was painted out to be the bad guy, it was clear she was spending too much and was on drugs however it seemed (to me anyway) that he just washed his hands of her (not so much the bed guy just not capable of supporting her in the way that he was). Very weird situation and covered a lot less of the specifics than say Amber. I also didn’t know she did heroin (Leah) or cheated on Jeremy so I think I’ve missed a bit. I thought it was pain meds she was addicted to from having a spinal tap with Addie although obviously addiction can lead to other drugs I know

The pain meds were opioids which is the heroin family.

I understand that and that the meds are a lot stronger and more diverse and available in America but there is a difference to taking prescribed meds and shooting up heroin no matter how addictive they both are. Especially the way they are obtained etc.

Is a spinal tap the same as an epidural? Why the need for opiates in the first place? Just trying to understand the root cause here.

I do think he was made out to be the bad guy who just left her when she was struggling and so much was left out that was actually going on. She did 100% cheat. She was caught on camera too 😂 because his family suspected it and hid a camera somewhere or something strange lmao. Also I think the back pain thing was just a bullshit excuse she made at the time when she was being questioned on everything.. because on the show first she tried to make out she acted weird because of anti anxiety meds.. then it was due to her back suddenly. But she was doing actual heroin with her dad not just the pills (the same one who’s just gone to rehab)

I’m sure people who worked for MTV at the time refused to film with her at some points due to the state of her home and said about their concerns about the children’s safety. So bad that they never would step in. Same as Amber.

I was just wondering this too. I had a spinal for my caesarean section (which is different to epidural), they sent me home with paracetamol and ibuprofen. Can’t quite understand the jump to opiates!

A spinal tap is slightly different I remember I thought it was the same thing. I think it went wrong so that’s why she was given the meds in the first place

I think in America they push drugs quite a lot. Especially as they have to buy them. When I was in America, on the tv every other advert is for medication, cute little jingles whilst also listing the hundreds of side effects. I remover there was one you can take alongside an antidepressant because apparently antidepressants don’t work as well without this add on 😳
 
The more I think about Leah the more fake she seems. She was doing heroin with her father her few years ago…yet now is willing to cut him off publicly for using a slur word. She instead of just telling him she didn’t like to hear that language and didn’t agree with it, went to a huge extreme to make it into a massive issue and involve discussing it with her children and taking them on a pride march. All televised to humiliate her father, who if still a drug addict and not in full control of his senses may regret what he has said but then had no way to simply apologise or have the matter dropped.

Then the recent reunion show we had Drew/Nessa ask Ali about this book she is supposedly writing and she basically just said she likes horses. The girl clearly is not writing anything herself, it’s either a constructed storyline that they won’t follow through on or being written by a ghost… and her reaction to those questions wasn’t nerves it was cluelessness, she maybe even forgot she was supposed to be writing it by the look of panic on her.

Nothing about her working as a waitress makes any sense. She’s still living in a fancy house, that Jaylan bought and she wasn’t on the deeds, apparently has loads of tax debt. She’s earned millions from TM, yet now needs to wait tables for extra cash? She can make money from product endorsements if TM drop her.

Here’s my only guess at what’s happening. She’s got some financial issue that having a low wage will somehow help her with. Maybe to avoid paying her tax debt she is channeling all her TM income into a business account or maybe trust funds. Then if she is earning nothing that could be a problem if the girls’s fathers complain she doesn’t work intentionally so is asking for too much support money. She then could get a low paid job to show on paper that she is employed and that earning is then compared to the father’s earnings…meaning more child support is due. Jeremy’s wife/friends etc are angry for a reason, and I don’t think it’s just happenstance that this confrontation occurred at the restaurant…they have a problem with her taking that specific job for some reason.

I wonder if even Jaylan got away without a huge financial sting. He apparently has some secret (being gay is the obvious answer) that she is holding for him, yet he didn’t make her leave his house.
