I’m not defending her but we don’t know it’s her that’s authorised/asked for this to be done. I think the same when people say that members of the royal family (both working and non-working ) have “done” things so its not just about Taylor.
Taylor has a team - as do the royal family - and those people will be trusted to do what they need to do for their jobs, especially someone like Tree. I’m not saying they have in this case but in my role I’d definitely “correct” something which is bringing attention (or breaching someone else’s privacy) and I wouldn’t necessarily always ask my boss for “permission”. However she could just be messy obviously

Her team owns the video in this case and its ages after the breakup as well.For all we know Joes own team may have been in touch and asked for nothing further to be shared. Her team might not want the publicity around this when there’s criticisms that Travis and her are PR. Plenty of other reasons I’m sure but point is she owns the video and recently released it so can edit it how she likes
and by “she” I very much mean her as a brand so the strings are likely being pulled by someone other than her

Yep! It’s like the team goes “oh yeah!” when the fans point anything out, like the errors in the book too, took for people to receive theirs before it was picked up on, and now this, does no one check anything or run stuff by her any more?!

Exactly, but she was so keen to tell us all that the chapter has been closed on her TTPD instagram post that she prob just doesn’t want everyone talking about Joe again, which I can understand, but just makes her and her team look silly now though making a kerfuffle!

She’s ok with the fans being horrible about Joe though! Her team have never done anything about that. She’s so messy. I still think Joe is the one that got away for her and that she projected onto Matty. The whole thing with Travis just screams “happy, happy, happy. Must make it work” to me. Mess.

I do wonder if it’s because she knows John Mayer would probably be a bit mouthy about it compared to her other exes, but I assume she said it because of the absolute tit storm Red TV kicked up for Jake and that was the last re-record before Speak Now so it was an opportunity for her to be like “guys lets not”.
