If the exclusive source through People mag is Tree about them “still seeing where it’s going”, why oh why did she mention him so much in her Time Person Of The Year interview it absolutely reeks of when she was seeing Matty and saying on stage this is the happiest she’s been in all aspects of her life and also the infamous “this one’s for you”.

That article was the sign that these stories about their argument were probably planted by their PR imo

That and the articles played into the conversations that were happening right after the game because he threw his helmet - which did die down fairly quickly

There really shouldn’t be a reason that they have to release statements just because there’s rumours they’re going to get engaged. She’s at the top of the game right now and has had these rumours swirling for ages, she either needs someone who can deal with them or someone who’s going to shut it all out. The people closest to them (those who matter) should have an idea of where it’s all heading anyway

It may well also be a sign that Tree simply follows what Taylor tells her to do. Though I’m sure a few years ago Taylor said she wouldn’t look up stuff about herself??

So if Lover (song) was up for Record and Song for example, Taylor would have been the sole winner of the Grammy had it won Song. Had it won Record, Antonoff would have shared it with her.

Song is about the strength of how it looks written on paper, Record takes production into account.

I also hate that she included name dropping sleaze, cell phones and tweeting in The Lakes. It could be so timeless without those references.

I agree about the tweeting mention in the lakes - also the “i come back stronger than a 90s trend” in willow, it pulls me right out of the song. It’d be one of my absolute faves if it weren’t for that line!
