he’s actually the ex CEO, not so sure he knows much! We can rule out a music video. I think it’s going to be some kind of “Making of Midnights” documentary. Some people seem to think she’s going to announce the next re-recording but I doubt it, it would overshadow midnights
Ahhh ok , maybe he’s just trying to be relevant 😂

he’ll definitely have contacts and he’s a huge Taylor fan (he co-hosts the “every Taylor album ever” podcast on The Ringer) but hes just being purposely vague so whatever she announces he could probably say “told you!”. He did the same thing with Beyoncé earlier this year

the tweet below for people who don’t know who we’re talking about:

He’s said he knows nothing now:

They’ve released a podcast on their best guesses though so I will be giving it a listen as I enjoy the two hosts!

After trying to get blink tickets, I just hope she does a stadium tour and not an arena tour. Either way getting tickets will be horrific I’m sure but venues like the o2 just are not big enough for these big artists. The fact that the o2 have tweeted about her album is worrying me.

This is the first point in my life where I’ve been financially able to book tour tickets and if it’s at the o2 there will almost be no point trying.

There’s no way she will be doing an arena tour, it’ll be a stadiums for sure. Unless she’s doing more “intimate venues” but with four brand new albums to tour, I doubt it. Also it’s worth noting that demand will always be high when the tickets go on sale but after that people will be selling tickets, so definitely keep an eye on Ticketmaster and Twickets - we can get the tickets!!

In the UK, what venues/locations do you think she’ll do?

word on the street is she’s doing Murrayfield in Edinburgh (thank goodness because the typical Scotland stadium of Hampden Park in Glasgow is a terrible venue). She’ll obviously do a London one, she did Wembley for rep so I’m inclined to think she will do London Stadium but who knows! Then the rest is anybody’s guess - Manchester, maybe Sunderland and potentially Cardiff?

I’m just not bothering for a few reasons. Personal finances aside.
It will probably be ticket master exclusive and I refuse to give them anymore money till they drop dynamic/surge pricing. Plus I know she’ll only be playing London plus maybe one or two other places on the mainland with the possibility of an
Irish/norther Irish show. Plus I relay on public transport which as those of who live in the uk is decidedly unreliable right now.

I try and avoid ticketmaster as much as I can, it’s usually much harder to get them on there anyway. AXS is better in my opinion but I’m not sure if they sell tickets for every show or just some locations

I am in Canada and saw her in Toronto during the Rep tour as thats the only city she played. I had to fly there. If she only plays Toronto again then I don't think I will go.

thats so fair -it won’t be her last ever tour! The dynamic pricing is actually up to the artist - they pocket the extra. For example, arctic monkeys stadium tour has a standardised price with none of the surge pricing. Hopefully the backlash around the midnights rollout/private jet frightens Taylor in to opting out in case of backlash!

In the UK, what venues/locations do you think she’ll do?
I think it’ll be similar to Rep, she played Etihad, Wembley and Croke Park I believe. There was a rumour that Millennium stadium could possibly have been booked. Tempted to say it could be at London Stadium opposed to Wembley but who even knows 😬

Id much rather Hampden than Murrayfield just because its easier for me to get to but Id be grateful for any Scottish date and I will be able to get to both. Im not convinced there will be a Scottish date though.

hoping it’s a real world tour and not like the rep “world” tour with only three (I think?) locations in the UK/Ireland. Some in Europe would take the pressure off tickets over here for sure! I also hope she brings surprise songs back

Oh wow do you think there’ll be that few UK places?! The pressure is really going to be on 😬

Yes based off previous UK legs of tours.

Fearless was three uk legs with a total of six shows. Three were in London. Plus Manchester and what I think were shows in parks as summer shows in Chelmsford and Staffordshire.

Speak now
Four shows( Birmingham/Belfast/Manchester/London) (plus Dublin)

Red tour
London only (five nights)

1989
3(Glasgow/Manchester/London (plus Dublin)

Rep
Manchester/London (plus Dublin) (two shows per venue)

(Dublin Is in brackets as it’s not the UK but counted it in with UK dates as it’s fairly accessible from mainland UK)

Based purely off this past touring pattern I find it hard to believe she would suddenly start adding in random new places like Coventry or Sunderland. I could be wrong though but I’m not hopeful. Especially when touring is as it’s expensive as it is (even if she would probably break even/make profit)

I’m another one who doesn’t want to support Ticketmaster and their dynamic pricing bs, but even if I wanted to, I can’t use them!

I have a standard UK mobile number and TM claim it‘s ‘not real’, so I can’t pass the phone verification step. Had a fiasco trying to get their customer services to look at it, got my mobile network involved and they didn’t know what the issue was. In the end TM just said there was nothing they can do and that was that.
The CS were obviously working from a script and didn’t know how to respond to the issue, so they were absolutely no help. At one point they suggested resetting my password. Needless to say, that did not work. 😂

But it gets worse.

I ended up saying that if they don’t want to help me as a customer can they please delete the account I’ve created but can’t log into due to above issue.
They directed me to one of their sub-brand sites in the US, which had an account deletion form based on American zip, state, etc as mandatory fields. No mention of the Ticketmaster brand and was all quite strange. Naturally it wouldn’t accept my UK address.
I pointed this out to the CS rep, who said ‘I am only getting the information based on the website. I'm sorry that we can't help you further with this, but if you have any other questions please don't hesitate to get in touch.’
No further responses - they essentially refused to remove my data or offer any kind of solution. I later found the Ticketmaster privacy email address and tried that, but they didn’t bother responding.

I contacted the ICO who I agreed I have a basis for a complaint, so that’s my next step.

Understandably, I dislike the company even more and the possibility they might be the only way to buy tickets would make me question whether I actually want to. My husband has offered to create an account with his phone number - but that’s not the point! I don’t want to give them money. 😩

Whole thing was chaos. 😔

I would absolutely love an in depth documentary on the process of writing and producing an album, kind of like fly-on-the-wall/behind the song style but professionally filmed and going in depth on each song, no personal life talk or anything, but I guess it’s hard to market something to the great public when it doesn’t envolve that.

One of my favorite Taylor moments is the talk she gave on the Grammy museum when she was campaigning for 1989, there were obviously hints on her private life since that’s what the songs are about, but she gave a great insight on the creative and technical aspects of making the album, that’s the thing she really shines at imo.

I'm in South America so I'll doubt I'll ever be able to afford to see her live.
I know there are South Americans fans who still haven’t got their money back from Lover Fest cancellations. I know that’s not Taylor’s fault, but still a shitty thing to happen regardless since it would be her first time performing there.

I’m in the Middle East where I don’t think she’s ever played, might have to look at flying to Europe or SE Asia depending on dates.
I did wonder if the “chaos” part of the announcement is that that’s the name of the tour - chaos as it’s 4 different albums/musical styles that are being toured at once?
