Ben is Vanessa’s partner of 16 years but maybe not now. He did a couple of strange Instagram posts saying that another woman was a troll, that he was reporting her to the police etc but I think he’s been caught out.
 
Vanessa made a VERY interesting remark at around the 1635-1638 mark on this afternoons show when talking about mobile phones and being “a damn sight happier” before having a smartphone, her face said it ALL! Everybody go back and watch it on the Talk TV app or something if you can. Something is def going on!
 
@Mediamyster yes she did and when talking to the lady about singletons having to spend more living alone than couples V said at the end of the interview “you may not realise how much this relates to me” or words like that.

Seeing as Ben and Vanessa no longer follow one another on Instagram and the fact he is looking sad in a coffee shop and a taxi, seems to me that they’ve split. He filmed himself walking into a police station on Tuesday saying that he was reporting a troll but then took it down. Thinking that he’s been playing away and she’s caught him out.

I absolutely adore Vanessa, she has a beautiful family, many friends. She will be fine. She’s also not wearing her engagement ring! Frankly, I don’t know how they've survived this long. That god awful chat show they did together on Channel 5. Vanessa is a very intelligent woman, Ben is nowhere near on her level, he’s a karaoke singer at best, and can barely string a sentence together, I know opposites attract and all that, but she could have done so much better in the first place.
 
@Mediamyster agree with your comment ⬆️⬆️ Vanessa has seemed extremely stressed the last few days but she will rise again. She is super intelligent and eloquent and I’m thinking that she doesn’t want anyone to see her sad. Ben O will have to live with whatever has happened. She clearly idolised him though. Wonder why the tabloids haven’t picked up on it yet?
 
To be honest I only knew of him through Vanessa. I don't know anything about their relationship, except there was an age gap. I am not surprised though, age gaps mostly work when the woman Is younger than the man for various reasons, including financial stability.
 
Yes he’s very smug. I didn’t watch all of Vanessa’s show. Did she say anything? Can’t believe the papers haven’t picked up on anything yet! It’s been going on all week.
 
This week someone called her beautiful and she mentioned a couple of times that "you never know what's happening in someone's life and how much I needed that today" iirc.

I hope she's doing ok. One of the few people that's been in the media for decades and noone has a bad word to say about her professionally.

Although it really does say something if such a good broadcaster felt her job was at risk with the BBC. And she was probably right with that worry.

Does anyone know the story about Ian Colins and his £300 dinner? I guess he accidentally ordered a pricey wine?

I don't think anyone in the papers actively dislikes her, she's not someone to make enemies. Also everyone knows she's already been through getting a hack call to inform her of a cheating partner. Readers won't want to hear of her going through the same thing again (if that's what's actually happened.)

Unwittingly went to a very expensive restaurant (google reviews????? That's what I use on Google maps) didn't realise exactly how expensive until he ate his steak dinner. The booze and trimmings were seemingly reasonable priced, only the steak that wasn't. Although the manager gave him a free cognac afterwards. :D

I'm guessing Ian Collins went to Beast. Said he usually has a lone meal near the studio when he does a split shift but he went to John Lewis on an errand for his wife so looked for somewhere near Oxford St but wanted to avoid the touristy places.

Steak at Beast s sold per 100g. He was a bit bamboozled by the waitress, he said she was Japanese and spoke good English but she was not easy to understand and she was pointing to lots of options on a blackboard. Seemed to me as if there was confusion between the £18 / £80 per 100g !

I didn't listen to Vanessa for long so nothing to report there.

Genuinely dreading Vanessa today, hope she hasn’t taken that slime ball back over the weekend. Hope the engagement ring hasn’t made a reappearance! He’s posted slimy horrible videos on instagram all weekend. Makes me feel sick quite honestly! Luckily V or her daughter aren’t following him on instagram again yet… if that’s symbolism for anything, can only but hope!
 
I’ve been checking over the weekend and I don’t think she has taken him back but will she? He clearly is desperate to be taken back especially the Michael Jackson “man on the mirror” reel he put on Instagram. He’s still sticking with the troll story.

I do hope she’s ok.
