However, there have been a couple of times recently (yesterday being one) when I've thought "Just F*ck Off, Piers."

His whole ethos seems to go against the grain of the general Talk TV narrative of centre right common sense discussion. Which many viewers tune in for.

I don't see Piers laying into the likes of Mike Graham, Kevin O'Sullivan, Jeremy Kyle, Richard Tice and David Bull whom share Henry Bolton's opinions.

Of course he won't, as that would put him on a collision course with his Talk TV counterparts. Choosing to have a pop at one of his guests instead.

James Whale featuring Ash can be entertaining too. 😆

James Whale does get overly emotional though. He does come out with some utter guff at times lol he seems to be on Talktv for entertainment purposes, as it's a bit mental how they have the likes of Tom Newton Dunn and then James Whale.

I wouldn't mind Piers if he'd let other people speak.
I like to hear different opinions but I don't like them shouted at me.

So I just avoid Piers on telly.

I agree.

Rather than repeats from 1am, they should give Petrie Hosken another hour. Christo and James Whale are two others that have been 'shafted' since Talkradio became Talk TV.

I still can't believe they let Rob Rinder go. It seems like only yesterday that it was announced he would be joining as a regular Friday host.

I wonder if it was his decision, or it was made for him?

Rob Rinder is the new host of Amazing Hotels with Monica Galetti.

And I adore Petrie.

Probably not his decision since they wanted to give Feltz 5 days a week but I doubt he was that bothered by it. Just a weekly radio show, he has other fish to fry.
 
Heard the James whale and Ash show for the first time in months and it was a pleasant surprise to hear James so calm and happy. Maybe working less has helped his mood :)
 
I wish they would stop twatting about with Kevin O Sullivan's show.

I tuned in this week because I love his segment with Ally Ross on Saturday nights.
They aren't on. It's Andre Walker and a woman I don't know.

No sign of Kev or Ally.

A couple of Saturdays ago I just happened to switch on earlier than usual to find they'd put Kev and Ally on the show before their scheduled one. So I was able to watch them by pure chsnce.
All this switching slots is doing my head in.

I used to like the Saturday night show when they had Kev and Mike on it. I appreciate Mike couldn't keep doing it all long term but I did like the 2 of them together. I haven't really bothered with it since any of it to be honest...

from the publication it's in it looks like they've sensationalized bc it doesn't look like they know how many months, which isn't fresh news. Could be 100 months or 2. Also I assumed stage 4 was always meant terminal? Not picking at your comment just the clickbait news item making money from someone's imminent demise.

I know James was fuming when he missed a Hospital appointment due to the Just Stop Oil muppets.

His show is still listed for Friday and Saturday nights. I'm guessing he will carry on for as long as he is able to do so.

Yeah, James has always said he has terminal cancer I think. I am sure i remember him saying that months ago when I listened to him before it went to talktv.
 
How is Vanessa felz so bad at time management? She's always taking all the time in the world talking to caller's and then in a second cuts them off saying gotta go 😆. I'm guessing she didn't have tight breaks to make on time at the BBC and is still struggling with it?

Yeah , it's utterly pointless continuing on like she is a mainstay. It doesn't work with her in LA. She's not even relevant enough for British TV - same as Ozzy. Always bemused me why they thought Sharon was going to bring a bunch of eyes to the channel. Any time she appears on Talk TV she doesn't add much at all to the debate.

I think she's mates with Piers, he calls the shots ... hence very low ratings. :ROFLMAO:
