no way?!?!?!

he’s always looked younger than his age (i think he was late 20s or even early 30s in ferris bueller) but that age difference has blown my mind - he looks great for 66!!

Yeah definitely! I think he looks about 10 years younger. Although I do remember being confused in the pilot and thinking the two of them were brothers and not father and son.

i did too!

my assumption has always been that logan had connor fairly young - though i would love to know more about connor’s mother in general. all we really know is that she had some kind of breakdown and passed away in residential care, right?

Yeah I figured he was married young and probably had him early 20’s? I find Connor’s character fascinating so would love to see more of his background and about what happened with his mum too.

Logan is supposed to over 80 now, about 83 ish and Alan is supposed to be younger so it works.

Hollywood always gets creative with casting. There was something like 10 years between Sean Connery and Harrison Ford in Indiana Jones.

is she?! it’s been so long since i watched the first series but i was sure she’d died because the big gala dinner was for her foundation (and i remember connor and logan talking about her in past tense). i’ll have to check it again!

i would love for her to be at the wedding but i’m really looking forward to that wedding in general 🤣

I’m going to veer even further off topic: Estelle Getty, who played Sophia in the Golden Girls, was younger than Bea Arthur (Dorothy) and Betty White (Rose)!

Back on topic: Tom might be my all-time favourite character from a tv show. The scene where he takes Logan’s chicken! 🤣

he’s outstanding. roman could be such an awful character but he just about keeps him on the edge of endearing. his face with the dick pic is great but i love his face when the shuttle launch fails in season one too 🤣

also i post this in all succession conversations but this recut version of the show as if it’s a romantic comedy about tom and greg is my favourite thing:

Thank you for posting this! They have THE best chemistry, I love them both. Tom's "you can throw away the training bra" line is absolute gold.
 
I've just finished the finale of s3 so now I can finally come on this thread and catch up!!! Truly one of the best series I've watched in a long time. It's not often I watch a show with episodes an hour long and not once want to pause the episode, or go on my phone. I was completely hooked and the betrayal in the s3 finale gave me Rains of Castemere/Game of Thrones flashbacks. Truly brutal. And Shiv's realisation that it was Tom who betrayed them all, the look on her face 😨😨😨😨

I can't decide who my favourite character is, but I keep coming back to Roman because he gets the best one-liners 😂 and Shiv is totally inspiring my work wardrobe at the moment - all of the smart suit sets, roll necks and trouser combos 🙏🏻
