That made me LOL ... Tom and Gregg get the best lines.

Connor is very underrated. Loved it when he lost it with Kendal about being the eldest son.

i love connor - i like that this series has given much more hints about how he basically took on a father role for the other three when they were kids. they’re awful to him but he loves them :(

i want to know more about his mother though! we only really know that she loved the social side of being logan’s wife and was in an institution, right? i need more details.

I read a good thread on Twitter about Shiv’s wardrobe signalling that she’s completely lost her way. Makes sense.
we don’t talk about the hours we lose on Twitter threads.

The last one I got obsessed with was about how the scenes with Shiv, Roman and Kendall (when Roman was helping Ken and vice versa) were framed around the Fibonacci spirals.

😑

Holy mother…. So much to discuss!

Tom 100% sent the doughnuts, btw…

i missed this initially but i just saw someone on twitter point out that tom was the only one who knew they were all in reva’s apartment and i was 😱 i think he’s basically been logan’s mole all season tbh and logan sent the doughnuts because tom told him they were all there….

Definitely. He guided Greg to seek outside counsel so he knew how bad the situation actually was and devised his plan from there. I hope Greg gets all the Greg’s he dreamed of. The soulless gent deserves it.

Oh, also, Sarah Snook was incredible this season. Her reactions were just superb.

she was outstanding! that entire final scene where you can see her slowly piece things together and her face at the end when she obviously realised it was tom 👏🏻👏🏻

imo shiv, in a lot of ways, was the master of her own downfall; she has a hugely elevated sense of her business smarts (trying to take on gerri? really?) and her treatment of tom came back to bite her in the end. i know he’s probably a bit of a gold-digger who wanted in with the family but i also believe that he genuinely loved and cared for her. their “dirty talk” last episode and then her speech at the wedding - you could see that was the final knife in his heart. his loyalty to her is gone now. matthew macfadyen is amazing at portraying all the sadness under tom’s bravado 👌🏻

The way Shiv told frank, Gerri etc that they’d have to fight for their lives a couple of episodes ago said it all. She doesn’t care about anyone, not even Tom and she’s completely forgotten how he got to where he did. I get the impression they he was working there before they started dating? But hes not stupid, he knew as soon as Shiv left her political career in the advice of Logan that she was a contender for the top job and started manoeuvring accordingly.

also i’m simultaneously watching season two with my sister right now and do you think we’ll ever get the full story of what happened with logan’s sister, rose? the kids obviously know because they make sure rhea mentions it in her speech and logan’s reaction is definitely implying that something happened. every detail of this show is foreshadowing though so i’m sure it’ll come back up!

my sister also reminded me that in season one logan says “you married a man fathoms beneath you so that he’d never betray you” to shiv which, uh, worked out well 🤣

i missed marcia this series too :(

I'm yet to finish the series but I feel I miss so much stuff because the dialogue is so quick, there's often more than one person speaking and a lot of it is in slang/lingo that I sometimes don't get. Add in their accents too and I always read a recap after I've watched to see what I've missed! 😂

Still love it though. I've just watched Kendall's cringe fest party through my fingers - OMFG!

I'm also utterly fascinated by Shiv's wardrobe. So frumpy, so beige, so uncomfortable looking.

I always watch with subtitles turned on, and sometimes have to rewind a bit if I’m not 100% switched on and listening

I'm so dense I genuinely didn't get the whole Tom thing until looking at social media after watching it. I mean, surely no one *needed* to tell Logan that his kids would do that, he's always one step ahead anyway PLUS he's got Gerri advising. Going to have to go back and watch everything again from the start, Lord knows what else I've missed 😂

I'm going to see what other articles I can find on it. As a complete fashion obsessive I find how they dress her really interesting.
