I know what you mean, there is something really hard faced about her. I reckon she would wipe the floor with Gio.

I think only 2 contestants were ‘strong’ enough to take on Gio last year.
Angela R, as much as Gio would have liked the high profile I can’t see him being patient and accommodating to her age. He was only good with Debbie because she was a trained dancer who was more flexible at her age than I have ever been.
Gio would have loved to have a ringer like Layton but I don’t think he would have been sexy/flirty with him like Nikita was, which was what made it the most believable same sex partnership. I also think Layton would have ripped him a new one. As much as I love Layton he was a gay kid raised by a single parent on one of the most deprived council estates in the country, that boy is tough with a real sting in his tail and would not take Gios tit. It would have been disastrous.

If they are going down route of retired olympians Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce would be a dream signing, she has announced her intention to retire post Paris, extremely unlikely she'd ever do it as she has young family in Jamaica, but she just has amazing energy about her and you just know she'd give it 110%.

For any Tristan (as in Jamelia and Tristan) fans (his stint on Strictly was far too short 😪), just seen that he is doing Australia I'm a Celebrity. No idea if it can be watched in the UK but thought I'd mention it 🙂
 
Surprised he's doing that when he mustn't be able to do many of the challenges having had about 3 heart attacks. Maybe just to show off in the shower.

In what parallel universe is Angela S more ‘determined’ than Amanda?

Amanda was roundly denounced as a gimlet-eyed dance predator, until she said Gio was a bit of a dick and then she was suddenly a lazy cow who wanted to spend all day lying on the sofa eating crème eggs and watching Homes Under the Hammer 🙄

It’s nonsensical comments like that which prove that these ‘exclusives’ from ‘a source’ are all just best-guess clickbait by someone who has only a passing knowledge of the show or any of the parties involved.

An absolutely perfect summary.

Am hoping Hannah W. is too tall for Gio: she is clearly a big fan so it would have to be someone like her who was partnered with him. An aside: I can't believe I ever found him attractive: the porntache, the greasy hair, even his body looks weird these days.

Amanda took herself very seriously and Angela S seemed to spend a long time looking like she felt awkward as duck pulling faces. I’m sure Gio would have loved her quirky approach to life.

Yes they definitely were 😂 all 4 finalists were lovely last year but Hamza is probably my favourite winner of recent years. He's just so lovely and I think it really was a life changing experience for him, and I think him and Jowita are genuinely friends for life. I will never stop singing his praises and Jowita too, such a brilliant teacher and choreographer!
