Hopefully he is never invited.

He has been hinting forever about it, even attempted to 'dance' at some red carpet thing where some of the Strictly people were present.

But it tends to be one way: Strictly then DOI. It’s quite rare for a former DOI contestant to then do Strictly
 
Strictly seem happy to use DOI alumni if they are objectively really good bookings for SCD and would add value. Angela Rippon was obviously a big signing for them (plus it had been years since she competed in DOI), and similarly ex-DOI judge Ashley Roberts was a mega-ringer and from a reasonably successful girl group.

I doubt TPTB will see any value in booking Jake, or indeed many other low-rent ex DOI stars.

Another who I thought had died years ago has actually died. John Savident aka Fred Elliot from Corrie. He would have been a great partner for the delightful Gio.
