He was an unbearably self-important tit on DOI. He must never be allowed anywhere near Strictly.

Ok this is so funny. The Bulgarian DWTS has reused Rose and Gio's American Smooth.

I thought the silly little red tie thing looked similar, but it's literally exactly the same dress, hair, gazebo, lighting and the cards at the start. 😂

I think I like this version better. No Fanny Rat oozing slime all over poor Rose.



Also the opening pro dance with the judges from last series. Well, no live singers is a big tick, not so sure about the rest of it...

Actually, you know what, it doesn't actually look that bad. Better than Ballando anyway.

I wonder why production of these inferior versions seem to encourage copying routines.
 
Oh, god, it's an epidemic of copies!! Dan and Nadiya's American Smooth as well, Krishnan and Lauren's Cha Cha, I think maybe Adam and Luba's Couple's Choice? and perhaps most baffling, someone thought it was a good idea to reuse Angela and Carlos' disaster Cha Cha choreography! :eek:



Probably for the best the clip's so short. 😂

I believe the BBC owns all the choreography. I can't imagine it's done without their full blessing. 🤷‍♀️

I do prefer it when something's just inspired, not an exact copy though. I just remembered that the theme/concept for Blu and Simone's VW last week was done in 2019 by Courtney Act on DWTS Australia. But the song, choreography and costumes were still different.

But there are so many versions, running for so many years, it must be hard not to reuse songs, costumes and concepts.

It sounds fairly standard to me.

If you work for a company and create something whether that be a product for a supermarket or a TV show idea or a car, you might design it and create it, and be recognised as the creator, but the ownership is held by the company you work for.

Dances and costumes go ‘on tour’ regularly. At one point, Strictly had quite a lot of cross over with DwtS from routines to Len and Bruno’s comments. Even Jay and Alion’s jive was a do over.

I don't think that routine is a fair comparison, movie themed dances are going to have some obvious similarities, and at least Aliona did different choreo to Maks (thank god).
 
More on Vito on Masterchef. What a motley line-up: Jake Quickenden, Diane from Traitors, Nitro from Gladiators.. apparently it films in Birmingham so maybe he’s up there now

At least that means he’s not going to turn up on celeb bb this time if he’s busy doing that. I’d love Vito to do it.

You know the way it sometimes emerges that someone was approached way back and turned it down, or whatever.

Well, in JQ's case, it's the other way around - he has been dropping hints forever. I doubt they would ever have him on though.
Hopefully not, anyway.
 
I just took a phone call from someone called Layton and then almost sent an email calling him Layton Williams 😣 #obsessed.

It’s a shame Jake is such an attention seeking dick as I would imagine he’s probably quite a good dancer.

There have been plenty of "celebs" that have competed on both strictly and dancing on ice so there mustn't be any rule against it
Even ex strictly pros
Hopefully he doesn't decide to go on strictly though!
