So many of the comments on Insta were about how unfair the sambathon was for Chris and how it was ableist to expect him to compete in those circumstances.I think a lot of the public underestimate Chris greatly and how he lives without his sight and this is affecting the vote.
Some are carrying on like he lives at home unable to function or do daily tasks independently until Dianne Buswell came and showed him how to dance. A poor Chris attitude.
The guy is married with a child, hes had a very successful comedy career touring for years, managing to get up and down the country into venues and filmed tv shows.
He's just got on with it and it feels like some of public support for him is like patting him on the head and telling him hes done well.
I mean I'm sure they took his needs into account and gave him extra room etc, and Chris would have had time to prepare and adapt like he did at blackpool. Plus both the show and Chris probably knew he wasn't going to come first.
It's like they want every path smoothed for him to win at every turn and if it isn't then it's unfair and the show is ableist. I'm sure that's not what Chris wants his strictly experience to be anyway.
