it was about him having acne as a teenager! i didn’t get the vibe it was a send-up though as i remember his dad being genuinely emotional during it (and if not, give that man a belated oscar )

Why did Punam need anything more than "I grew up watching Bollywood films with my family and I want to do a dance inspired by that."?

Chris Ramsay and Adam Thomas both danced to songs that reminded them of growing up. That's a relatable enough set up!

I'm still annoyed about them forcing the Dua Lipa CC on Ellie last year. With her having to say Dua was a great inspiration to the modern woman, third-hand choreo by Beth Honan, and two days to rehearse, so even Vito didn't look very good. Whereas Ellie could have done a beautiful old Hollywood/Broadway one, or better still, none at all and done a lovely waltz or tango (still can't believe Vito hasn't done a tango yet on SCD.
