I really, REALLY do not want to see or hear of Anton Du Beke or Giovanni Pernice taking off on another one of their grandiose, luxury, pretentious, ego massaging gents holidays ever again paid for by our licence fee.

The idea of those two pompous old boys club twats fine dining and taking in the sights turned my stomach before this scandal but now I actually think the BBC should apologise for funding Pernice's lavish excursions when in the background the evidence of bullying and abuse was stacking up very high .

They probably didn’t for this series though. Didn’t everyone’s favourite Tom Fletcher say they pretty much know a year in advance and are sworn to secrecy? I’d imagine the celebs have already been in place before everything blew up. Next year could be a different story.

Loose Women talked about it today. All 4 panellists had done SCD - all with good experiences. Kaye, Sureka (think that is her name - used to be in Brookside and Casualty), Penny Lancaster and Judi Love. They all were quite balanced - said even if they had a good experience not everyone did and they should be able to raise concerns without people turning on them. And that whistleblowers always get a rough time.Penny L said that when she did it there was a camera in the training room the whole time filming them rehearse. She is a part time police woman on her uniform benefits her and the public. And the same should be true of SCD. Kaye was surprised about the camera. Maybe it was a policy but they stopped it. Amanda A is on the show next week. Pasha was also on the show - something about Robin Windsor - I stopped watching so don’t know if they asked him about the shenanigans.
 
I actually really like Pete Wicks, he would possibly be a favourite with the production team but that wouldn’t be his fault. To be honest, I could actually see Pete seeing through it if he was a favourite and calling them out on it. I’m just hoping for an original sugababe or even this might be controversial but Cheryl Cole. Imagine Cheryl’s reactions if Shirls said to her now young lady.

I can’t see Pete doing it now though, in light of what happened to Zara? 🤷🏼‍♀️ They’re all very close aren’t they?

I’m actually pleased about this. I like Pete and anyone from Fakey AKA Jake Quickenden’s thread will know he’ll be rocking backwards and forwards seething with jealousy 😂.

It depends, Zara could think similar to Amanda which is no ill will to Strictly as a whole because they recognise some people have an amazing experience and that not all the dancers are like their partners were.
From Amanda’s point of view I think all she wanted was for her complaint to be taken seriously and that it didn’t happen to anyone else. Zara could be the same.

Interesting that Judi was there - I presume she didn't mention Graziano. They seemed pretty close.

The odious Katie Hind has a piece in the DM 'ranking' the Strictly scandals. Unsurprisingly, she rubbishes Amanda. She also says her 'sources' tell her Will Bayley was left out of the group chat because he was 'annoying', and the worst one, commenting on the agent Melanie Blake's claim that a pro sexually assaulted her way back:
" Melanie, who is known within the showbusiness and TV industry as being ‘high-maintenance and outspoken’, didn’t name the man. Someone familiar with her claim tells me: ‘Whatever she thinks, she certainly wasn’t this person’s type.’ (maybe a ref to the pro being gay, but gay men can still assault straight women)

All the Strictly sources seem as nasty and misogynistic as Katie herself. Hmm. :mad:

As much as I love Pete, you just know they would pair him with Nadiya to get the curse going , not that two single people is a curse really.

No Judi didn’t mention anything about Graz. There was no way he would pick on her. She would have taken him down.

Leaving Will Bayley out of the chat is a form of bullying. In a workplace (and SCD is that) if everyone is included in something, and someone has been deliberately out, it is exclusionary bullying.
