Yeah Janette seems to have settled more into it; not as polished as Fleur was though IMO.
 
Someone on the DS compared Danny Mac to Scott Tracey from Thunderbirds and now I can't unsee it!! :LOL:

I'm thinking and hoping this could happen. Quickstep just wasn't his style (in ballroom hold and too technical), and Karen's achilles as a pro is ballroom so I had a feeling they wouldn't have the ideal debut. Since they should be on Latin next week, hopefully it's upwards.

I'm hoping so! He wasn't great in his quickstep but you could see he had really good musicality and danced very well out of hold.

I'm not sure anybody's hips are going to rival his (but I'd like to see you try, Nigel 😛😍)

I don’t disagree but I am one of those women and I do very occasionally vote, but I also know who Zara is and watch love island every year. Also, what happened with Joe sugg, Harvey or whatever his name was and also scarlett thingy who all did quite well and are ‘influencers’? 🤢

Plus Zara has over a million followers ( and Sam too), so I’m sure they can get some votes.

I’ve fancied that man since the ripe old age of 11 when he waltzed onto Hollyoaks topless and nothing will put me off him😭😭can the xmas special just be Danny Mac dancing 6 new routines? I can be generous and wait till next year so that he can be with Oti again !!

Saffron. She was a good dancer, though and the judges scores kept her in a safe leaderboard position for a good while before public votes became more important. I think Joe and Harvy also had the 'nice young man' votes tied up those years, too.

Krishnan reminds me of Ed Balls. He wasn't good, but he did try to learn some steps and he could hear the beat and follow the music.

I think Les would have worked a good 10yrs ago perhaps, but unfortunately he seems out of his depth even as a comedy act.

The other thing I loved was, he looked like he was having the time of his life. 😁
And I want Karen to have fun, and a good run in the show, this year. She deserves it after the Jayde experience imo.
 
Ive just managed to catch up on the threads after a crazy weekend. Some of you might remember me two weeks ago suddenly deciding to have a party for my bday & making it Strictly themed! Well I thought since it’s quiet this morning I’d show you how it went off. That’s me in the navy sequin suit channeling my inner Claudia. And the Strictly pjs were the BEST.PRESENT.EVER!!!!!

On topic, I watched the show at 6am Sunday morning after everyone had gone to bed… I couldn’t wait. (Have had to watch again sober since, mind!) But I loved Ellie, Nigel and Angela R. My poor beloved Gorka will be home with the fam sooner than he thinks unfortunately!
And wtf were Tess & Claud wearing? Sooooo not fronting strictly on a Saturday look, more wine bar after work with the girls 🤣
