Even if they just swapped Luba and Dianne's partners around. Adam is probably still a bit tall for Dianne when you have Les and Krishnan there but it would be easier for them both.

I concur about the height thing. It just doesn’t surprise me who will use any reason to hate on whoever she’s paired up with to then not give it a chance. I remember the judges were giving criticism about the ballroom hold last year with ter and it was literally about something that couldn’t be fixed due to height difference so it really isn’t fair for that reason alone.

Some of the other partnerships seem to be out of the blue pairing as well; like Kai’s and Luba’s. Production make their choices for a reason which is something they only know; could be to do with personality, location, surprise factor. You could list a whole bunch of reasons.

But I guess Bill just really charmed people.

Wish Vito was around to be Maisie's partner then, I think they'd have been a cracking partnership.

Adding to the why is Nadiya benched chat! Just WTF. And Dianne and Bobby (he's got a long neck and big feet), maybe Dianne's favourite song is The Postcode Lottery song and they'll be all dressed in red for couples choice.

Happy for Karen, Carlos, Nikita (didn't see that coming but I love it), Katya and Gio 😈.

I think Kai and Angela R was always a foregone conclusion. They could be the same age.

Vito learning Northern is going to be funny.

If even the judges were pointing out issues with height then surely that’s an ever bigger indication that she shouldn’t have been paired with Bobby? It doesn’t make sense, Adam would have been much better and Bobby with Luba.

I think that’s the crux of the issue. I don’t think production ultimately cares about height differences to a certain degree not if they put another tall male celeb with a shorter female pro; they obviously prioritise other things. Like I said before maybe personality or location took more of a president.

Have been watching Celebrity Masterchef and it’s actually made me quite like Max. my Favourite quote from him was ‘It’s the first time I’ve done a show like this and learnt things and improved. Like Strictly … I went in a bad dancer and came out a worse dancer’.
 
ooh what a line-up. Has anyone checked on the DS Nadiya fan? Have to say the Dianne thing seems odd.
Glad Vito didn’t get Angela R and hopefully will stay in for a bit it’s Ellie.
Excited for Katya and Nikita. Pleased Gio didn’t get a ringer and I can ignore him and Amanda.
 
Just saw a certain comment on the DS left by an apparent fan of a certain pro; not just a comment saying they’re disappointed or upset that the pro didn’t get a celeb which is fair enough but let’s just say there’s a reason why a few years back authorities had to be called in when an another pro was getting threats.

I think it’s easier for a male pro to dance down their height than it is for a female pro to dance up. Nikita with Ellie last year did that well

I hope not, too. I think he is a lovely guy, and I was musing earlier in the week, that he might be seen as a safe pair of hands with older partners. I am looking forward to seeing him and AR anyway.
