I think Les has been dealt a rough hand. He was a victim of Amanda Holden’s scheming. She used him to further her career. I remember how broken he was on Celeb Big Brother.

With Giovanni launching his lifestyle brand during the strictly season will he have time for both or is he hoping for an early exit to concentrate on his other interests?

I was about to say the same, well, I was thinking that he had an injury recently also, so might be hoping to bow out early.

So Annabel, Angela R and Angela S all have dance experience (Angela S was an Irish dance champion). I can see why LadyLav wants Gio with Angela S - she's the girl-next-door type who people may well warm to.

As a former All Ireland dancing champ, I can tell you… that kind of dance experience will do nowt for Angela S lol! Irish dancing is all hands by your sides, straight back, move your legs only. Think like a swan all the action is below water level

There will be moans of course but I think the line up is looking pretty interesting. A lot of unknown quantities, will be good to find out the pairings now. Think it will be good for the pros as well,a bit of thinking outside the box needed. Angela Rip off is going to get on my last nerve but hey ho, can’t have everything

(Didn’t the pros join in a Lord of the Dance thing that week. I remember mainly for Tristan ❤looking moody in waistcoat).

That was a dance to Danny Boy that lead into a performance by the cast of Lord of the Dance.

DWTS Ireland did a dance with some of the cast of Riverdance that was done better imo, although I don't think some of the pro dancers were great.

Oh I loved Tristan and Aliona. Aliona is probably my favourite female pro to have been on the show and Tristan ended up being the perfect pro for Jamelia with his attitude towards it all. Their last ITT is still my favourite one

Side note, I hate those shoes the female Irish dancers are wearing, they look nothing like normal hardshoes.
